I have been thinking about it for a few days and I think I have rounded down what we can expect this new series to be. Hopefully we will know more when hasbro has their conferance on the 5th :D The first is the obvious "and wanted by most" proper classics cartoon series. Which would be a proper rehash of g1 for the current generation. Plus classics "2.0" has had several new figure molds released. Meaning hasbro could easily build a story based around figures that have already been avaliable and even reissue some molds if need be. Not to mention classics would be popular with old fans and new fans wanting to rediscover transformers roots. The second is hasbro ta…

What if in the movie, Prime had borrowed Magnuses trailer? I think he'd have kicked everyones can, and won the blasted war! Then he coulda killed Unicron. Then Magnus would be mistaken for Optimus everywhere he went, and pointed at and they'd yell "FAKER!!!!'

We all had our likes and dislikes about the series, toys and genre in general. This discussion is based on the goofs and idiomatic quirks about the series and the toys. Some starters: 1. Why are the Autobots so cool? They can't even fly for the most part. Autobot cars kicking the tail of Decepticon jet planes? WTF? 2. Grimlock, one of the strongest yet lacking wit, always has the ability to say 'No, me Grimlock no do what Prime say.' Clearly he was telling Prime to go F himself. 3. If Megatron is so powerful why he is such a loser? ie can never destroy the Autobots? (negating marketing issues and $$$ for Hasbro/Takara) 4. How do the Autobots get to their …

When you usually see a new Transformer line, it's usually a given that of all the characters, Optimus Prime will keep certain characteristics from generation to generation (I.E. color scheme of red/blue, some vague form of a truck, blue head w/ faceplate, and at times, includes the matrix). The point is, when you see Prime, you know it's prime. Megatron, on the other hand, has varied quite a bit. I can't help but feel disapointed when I see new incarnations of the decepticon leader, as he doesn't seem to carry much over (he's a gun! no, wait! let's make him a tank!, Orrrrrr howzabout a race car/airplainy-thingy!) I personally like the original's grey color scheme (I m…
