  1. Wow. That's what happens when you take a 5 year hiatus. I re-uploaded the images at the beginning of the thread for anyone still interested. Unfortunately, no I don't have a website. I did have a how-to over at the old TFMaster site back before he passed away. I believe it changed to Transtopia or something and was then merged with Seibertron.com or something. I'll have to look.
  2. It's a short list right now I know, but I will be adding to it as time goes on. WANTS: 2 G1 Thundercracker Short Missiles (Not reissues) 2 G1 Thundercracker Long Missiles (Not reissues) 2 G1 Skywarp Short Missiles (Not reissues) 2 G1 Skywarp Long Missiles (Not reissues) 1 Orange seeker cockpit window. Needs to be in c9 shape with no clouding or major scratches. HAVES: 3 G1 Ultra Magnus Short Missiles Energon Arcee Weapons Cyberton Excellion Weapons
  3. That's fine dude, more power to you! I will warn you though, if you've never taken Galvatron apart before, stay organized! For such a simple transformation he's got like 90 parts including screws, (the ratcheting parts are smaller than the screws) and it's real easy to get confused. I would suggest taking him apart to paint however, one bit of advice: If you do dissassemble him to paint, don't paint the bottom part of his waist that you cannot see when he's all together. I did, and when I assembled him, I found I couldn't turn his waist because the paint had set and gave more mass to the piece that was supposed to turn. I had to dissassemble him and scrape the paint off and it was a pain.
  4. I installed a led light into the cannon with 2 LR41 button batteries. The extra mass on top of the cannon is the on-off switch box that I glued into place.
  5. Wow, that's cool! I never knew that TFMaster did a version of his own. I might have to ask him if he's got more detailed pics of that head. I originally wanted to make the head on mine be able to turn as well, but I couldn't find a way to do it. I would love to see how he accomplished that.
  6. Cannon with light on. You can see the on-off switch on the top of the cannon.
  7. After two months time, it's finally done. My G1 Galvatron repaint & kitbash. I had been waiting YEARS to finally feel comfortable enough to tackle this one on my own, but I feel it was worth the wait. As it started out, I was only going to make this a straight repaint to capture the look and feel of the movie, but as I was going to paint his cannon a solid orange, I had a bit of strange luck and the tools to give him a light-up cannon. Thank goodness for L.E.D. lights! I had a lot of inspiration for this work, so I have to give props to Zobovor for the idea. His was first so he deserves the recognition. Galvatron was painted using Krylon Fusion and a mix of Testors paints for the really small details.
