The little devil is looking surprisingly good for a core class figure. Listed on Amazon Japan is a new mook featuring the "Transformation! Transformers" Henkei Comic Collection by Naoto Tsushima. The collecting breings together all the comics from 2008. Many of these were only seen in monthy installments in magazines, and never pubulised in book form. Now they have all been collected and digitally restored for printing in this new 370 page book that will be out in Japan on December 19, 2023. - Read the Full News Story

Studio Series 86 commander class Optimus Prime? Hell yeah! If we were still working with Kingdom Ultra Magnus then Earthrise Optimus prime would be fine. For Rodimus you could still go back to PotP Rodimus and use just Hot Rod as a Rodimus that "matches" Earthrise Optimus and Kingdom Magnus. Or just use SS86 Hot Rod. However we now have SS86 Magnus and that changes things. Earthrise Optimus looks like straight trash next to SS86 Magnus and Kingdom Rodimus. I'm pretty sure that Rodimus has more going on in his two arms than Optimus has going on in his whole body parts wise. Comparing them is not even close.

Takara TOMY rolls out their Labor Race Braver Nissan NISSAN GT-R & Fairlady ZW Set on Amazon Japan. These will likely trigger your Alternity / GT-R senses, but they are not a Transformers branded product, but they still transform from car to robot and included pilot driver robot buddy. Hasbro has waited a long time to light our darkest hour, as the listing for the 1986 Optimus Prime 2024 Studio Series TF Movie Commander Class surfaces from the retail inventory zone. It looks like Ultra Magnus will have a classmate with this Commander Class release for the Autobots Leader. Have the tables been turned with Optimus Prime being spun off from an Ultra Magnus mold? Takara has returned to form with their release of the Earthspark line. For many years Takara was known for having a more premium paint deco on their releases, even doing some retooling and adding accessories. That ended after the Titans Return line with a few odd releases here and there. Optimus Prime looks much better than the Hasbro release, with better symbols and what I feel is a better use of silver paint. Starscream is much improved from the original Cyberverse release and has a more metallic look from what I've seen of the Hasbro renders. These Takara releases make a great gift for collectors who might already have these figures but would appreciate the refreshed decos. -
The Daily Prime is rolling out for the weekend with a follow-up to our previous robot mode shots of the 2023 Fans Hobby Master Builder MB-20 X-Load figure. We also addressed the release of Legacy United wave 1 core class figures and the reveal of the next possible titan, as well as, a Deathsaurus delay .Finally, we played a quick trivia round and ended with a clever little Studio Series 86 Ratchet note! New colors images of the Transformation TZ-01 Disaster action figure are out on the Asia SNS. The unofficial remake of the Studio Series SS101 Rise of the Beasts Scourge looks to be a straight Knock Off at 20cm /7.87" tall and updated with some die-cast parts, at least. As expected, comments suggest the plastic is not as good as the real deal. The TZ-01 Disaster is shipping for about $23 USD from overseas. - Read the Full News Story

@MechFansToys has an update on their Dinosaur Year of the Dragon Limited Edition set. The unofficial Dinobots team include first 14 cm / 5.5 inch tall legends scale figures for a price of about $75 USD will begin shipping December 2023.
