The Dino Megazord. It's cool as shit.

The Gaoking Megazord and some of its combinations. They're cool as shit.

The Mystic Titan Megazord. It's cool as shit.

Those sentences are all 2 words too long. Specifically the words "cool as." Let's see how this looks when corrected:

The Dino Megazord. It's shit.

The Gaoking Megazord and some of its combinations. They're shit.

The Mystic Titan Megazord. It's shit.

MUCH better!

Is this a gut reaction to power rangers in general or have you actually handled the toys themselves and made an educated opinion on their quality?

If the former, I feel nothing but contempt for you, since you've chosen to disparage these fabulous toys without having tried them.

If the latter, I feel nothing but sympathy for you, since you weren't able to enjoy these fabulous toys.

Last time I checked, I had every right to draw my own opinions, be it on Transformers, Power Rangers, scrambled eggs, or whatever else, based on what I feel they should be, regardless of what you think of them. And I maintain this right, thanks.

*sigh*

I really hate when people use the "But it's my opinion!" defense, because it's means nothing they've said so far has any merit. It means as little as injecting the following non sequitor into a conversation: "we need air to breathe."

Opinions can be wrong and you can look foolish for having certain opinions. Your job is to prove that your opinion isn't foolish, even if it appears so at first glance, or to reevaluate your opinions until you reach competency. Having the right to form stupid opinions doesn't absolve you of any of this.

If you don't like the Megazords because you've tried them and they're not to your taste, that's fine. If you're just spouting off because you have some adverse gut reaction to Power Rangers/Super Sentai in general, you're only making yourself look bad for needlessly knocking on these toys.

PR toys are cool. thats just the fact of the matter.

anyway, i enjoyed the show, i did notice the same problems addressed with others critiques, however, i think most of those issues will go away with time and familiarity with the 10 min format. i do agree with the idea of cue cards, however since you guys rely on spontaneity for your shtick, a couple main points to cover and perhaps a line or two to build off from would be helpful so you dont end up sputtering and talking just to continue talking. lighting is good. you need to zoom the camera out just a little bit, you look really crammed into the frame, and it creates a little anxiety. also, you guys tend to not fully engage the camera when youre speaking to it, and tend to look at eachother, which is fine, but it does make you guys look nervous. great job, and good luck with the next one!

I'm gonna have to disagree here. It's all in their rights to not like MMPR for whatever reason, regardless of what others think. It is their opinion, and their right to have it, regardless of others thoughts on it. Even if its just a gut reaction and not a formed opinion, it's just theirs and doesn't really effect anybody else.

I never said he didn't have the right to form and have stupid opinions. I said that it's not a GOOD thing to have stupid opinions. The difference is in more than semantics.

The difference is you don't share the opinion.

Opposing opinions like this never go farther than this. Hell, I remember having to defend the fact that I liked the Animorph TF toys on multiple occasions against people who didn't like them. Which was really silly when you think about it. If they don't like something for whatever the reason, nothing you can say will change that. They'll change it if they choose too. Hell if it is a gut reaction, telling them its wrong to go on a gut reaction could make them even more opposed.

well this is a discussion board, it is pretty lame and immature to state you dont like something, and then when asked why, say "jus cuz".

sentai toys are usually well engineered and oft times include metal content (the japanese versions anyway) and usually incorporate an overarching aesthetic theme. TBH, they're more like G1 transformers than current lines out at retail right now.

Honestly, sometimes that's the best your going to get out of some people.

But yeah, I have liked some PR toys. I used to get Shogun Warriors toys when I was a kid (love clearances, don't you) and some of those Megazords remind me of those.
