1) Wheelie Spotlight was ROFLs. First he's talking about how he's small and no none cared about or even really liked him. Then he's manning up all by himeself on a seemingly empty planet (damn, it seems like everyone winds up on those... poor Kup) Then he's fighting lame decepticons, then he learns to rhyme. Making Wheelie makes sense was a hoot, and a great story besides, but the cover and the last image (probably a look as to what will be the major plot point post -tion stories) are really what brings it all together. It's Win! 2) Cyclonus Spotlight/Revelation 1: Bringing a whole bunch of elements together in one issue is kinda weird, especially given that Cyclonus …

I'm not planning to sell them but I'm just wondering what they could fetch

Ok, so i was sitting in a lecture the other day bored and i had this idea about powermasters in IDW. Following on from the whole human headmasters thing.. i had this thought that what if powermasters were the equivalent of drugs to transformers? I.E. linking a powermaster provides some sort of ultra energon high thats massively addictive like heroin. I had two thoughts a) human remenants of the headmaster people or b) Megatron uses it as a tactic to ensure a somehow restored (i came up with this before i realised what had happened to him in revelation)) doubldealer's loyalty to him, and then he expands that to other traitorous decepticons, or in a way to get autobots to …

Issue #8 focuses on the Autobots, currently stranded on Cybertron, and their problems with dissent and treason, while also featuring a few jaunts to Decepticon-occupied Earth. We get some important revelations in this issue. Most importantly, the identity of the Autobot “traitor and what appears to be his demise, but also a deeper look into how the Decepticons defeated the Autobots on a galactic level. This involves the fate of another seminal IDW TF character. (Bring a sick bag.) Read full review here. Read the Full News Story Here

Comics Continuum has a first look at All Hail Megatron #8, due in stores March 11th. IDW's description reads: "The crisis on Cybertron escalates as the Autobots are in a race for their lives against the Swarm! Could this be it? It's a pulse-pounding issue as the identity of the traitor is finally revealed and not all of the Autobots survive the experience." Read the Full News Story Here

I mean really, Spotlights seem to tend to end fairly poorly for the character involved. Shockwave's encased in lava. Nightbeat had his memory erased and is presumably under some sort of control. Hot Rod is set up to be betrayed. Magnus didn't catch Scorponok, and is gradually eroding his conscience trying to do so. Soundwave was buried in a rockslide. Kup's insane and will likely never recover. Ramjet's very, very dead. Prime wound up okay, though really not better off. Galvatron made out like a bandit, all things considered. Sixshot got off scot-free as well. But really, considering that these characters are the main characters of the issue, I find t…

Okay, this may have been discussed in the other BW comic thread, but I wasn't sifting through 48 pages to find out. The implication is that the "Maximum Imperium," AKA Magnaboss, AKA Prowl, Ironhide, and Silverbolt, were THE original G1 characters, correct? If so, how or why were they still alive at the time of the Beast Wars? Silverbolt could've been, I suppose, but we know for a fact that Prowl and Ironhide were killed in the movie... so what's the deal?

Darkness falls on the AUTOBOTS this November in the comic book event Transformers: Dark Cybertron! This series pushes the TRANSFORMERS characters to their limits, but they'll have the help of some creative superstars on their journey. Joining writer and IDW senior editor John Barber and fan-favorite scribe James Roberts in a top-secret meeting earlier this year, the artistic force of Phil Jimenez helped plan Dark Cybertron from the start! "I've been a fan of the TRANSFORMERS brand since I was 13," said Jimenez, "and this was a fanboy dream come true. View the full article

people i got a question what's up with lio convoy's optics changing from their normaly gold yellow color to the light sky blue color for that matter who is the scientist that lio refers to? that whole optic color change affect has got me thinking lately. was this version of lio convoy always a miximal from the beginning? what i mean by that is this did he exist in the time before the protoform upgrade as an autobot warrior? and if so who was he originally. me i figure the scientist could possibly be perceptor. as for who lio convoy may have been originally well your guess is as good as mine with those blue optics though the re…

Sucked. Just read it the other day. Between the horrible art and horrible story, Chaos was probably the most over hyped garbage i've read in a long time. So much build up for nothing. i hope the two individual series have turned out better. I'm waiting for the TPB's to read them.
