  1. Nezha Transformers, or possibly Transformers Nezha is a bit of a mystery. A Chinese-language Transformers production, we know next to nothing about the plot, or characters, or basically anything else except "This Exists, And So Do Some Toys." And now, by way of Weibo, we have another potential toy! Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  2. Previously, we reported that TakaraTomy was teasing a new Raiden project at the upcoming "Railway Story In The Sky" exhibition being sponsored by various Japanese railway companies. That exhibition is now underway, and thanks to Autobase Aichi we've learned that the announcement is in fact a new Raiden figure for the Masterpiece Series. 3. Entertainment Earth has posted new listings for Cyberverse products due to ship in January of 2020! Among them are a few names new to the line's toy releases, along with a name that's not familiar to us at all: Hammerbyte. Newcomer Hammerbyte is in the Warrior assortments along with Soundwave, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream, and what we presume to be a new deco of Hot Rod with a prefix of "Stealth Force. 5. Thanks to Jesse Wittenrich on Twitter for posting this image from Jim Sorenson's latest Transformers book, Transformers: A Visual History! Within the book - a treasury of Transformers artwork - Wittenrich spotted this unreleased figure: Got my copy of Jim Sorenson's "Transformers: A Visual History" and this one piece of art in the PotP packaging section caught my eye!!#transformers #poweroftheprimes #beastwars #primalprime pic. 6. Thanks to Twitter user @saberconvoy for the heads-up on the first toys from the Chinese series Transformers: Nezha! Very little is known about this animated series exclusive to China, but thanks to the packaging seen here three character names are now known: Nezha, Tu Xingsun, and Lei Zhenzi. These names correspond to Chinese deities and traditional characters from Chinese Opera as best we can tell from a cursory Google search. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  7. Weibo users MEGA-Decepticon & JakeToys have posted images from what is claimed to be an accidental early listing on Hasbro China's Taobao store of 2020 releases. Besides Movie Masterpiece Ratchet and Starscream, we've got a scattering of Generations Earthrise figures that strikes us as very interesting if true. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  8. Thanks to Rob Springer of Radio Free Cybertron and Zone Base for the heads-up on this one! Theme park news site Theme Park University has posted details on the upcoming Universal Studios Beijing, and there's an interesting detail there:An expanded story was specifically developed for the character Metrobase, who is a Titan, a robot the size of a city. 9. Thanks go out once again to Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast for providing us with this sample for review! So there had to be a counterpart to that Metroplex theme deck eventually, right? Inside every Siege II booster box is a single Trypticon pack containing Trypticon and his entourage: Full-Tilt, Wipe-Out, and Brunt (who possesses neither a hyphenated name nor an alternate mode). 11. Japanese hobby magazine Dengeki Hobby has posted new promotional images of upcoming Generations Earthrise figures! The first round of figures will hit Japan in late April 2020, in keeping with Hasbro's projected release date of that March. 12. Super7's ReAction line specializes in action figures the way that people of the G1 generation were most likely first exposed to them: in a 3-3/4" scale with five swiveling points of articulation - shoulders, hips, and neck, Kenner Star Wars style. This past weekend at ComplexCon in Long Beach, CA, Super7 partnered with the NTWRK retail platform to release a special Def Jam Records edition of ReAction G1 Soundwave! NTWRK is the same platform where Ecto-35 Masterpiece Optimus Prime was sold early very briefly in extremely limited quantities. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
  13. This weekend, the Lucca Comics And Games festival is taking place in Lucca, Italy, and Hasbro is there. Thanks to the Guerrestellari.net Facebook page's coverage of the event we've got a live video of the panel! The Transformers part of the presentation begins about ten minutes in with a 35th Anniversary presentation video, segueing into what appears to be a detailed talk by artist Emiliano Santalucia (in Italian) on his Transformers design work, using both the upcoming HasLabs Unicron and the recent Siege Leader Ultra Magnus and Voyager Optimus Prime as examples. 14. A few months ago, we reported that the first volume of Transformers: The Manga had been solicited on Amazon.com for publication in February 2020. And now we have Volume Two up for preorder as well! Due out May 12th, the collection lists Ban Magami and Masumi Kaneda as authors.
