We'll just have to wait and see, but from what I read I also understand that not only the Japanese continuity, but also the Primevil Dawn and Wreckers continuity is far from secure with these plans. Magmatron on Earth during the Beastwars era seems a little inconsistent with both BWneo & The Wreckers.

BW Neo and Wreckers/Primeval Dawn/Universe are not a part of the continuity that Dreamwave is creating though. So those storylines have no impact on this mini, just as events in the G1 ongoing do not reflect the G1 cartoon (i.e. Sunstorm, Jetfire dying, etc). Don't get me wrong, I love the OTFCC comics, but it is a separate continuity.

For instance: let's suppose that they will use characters that participate in the Wreckers comics (like Ramalus, Magmatron the Mutants, etc...) and let's suppose that during these new BW stories one of these gets killed. Not just killed, but utterly destroyed, blown to atoms and his spark ripped in tiny fragments to burn in the inferno until...well, beyond the time when all are one.

I have very little doubt DW will do anything that will diminish BW, but I'm not so sure about The Wreckers comics. I like these comics (even though I've only read 2) alongside the (yet unseen BM series). I like how the story is expanded beyond what's been established in BM. I would really regret losing these stories as part of the continuity because Dreamwave/Furman writes a story that makes elements or the entire story impossible.

 

 

(Then again, Furman wrote part of that extra timeline so maybe he'll safeguard it. The guy is good after all.)

finally, somebody gets it. You guys, for being comic fans I am sorely disappointed. I'm surprised you guys haven't been whining about events in TF/Joe not affecting the G1 ongoing, or how Joe vs TF doesn't affect the G.I. Joe comics. Primeval Dawn/Wreckers/Universe are all a part of a separate continuity, how many times do I have to say that?!

doubtful, since all three were in Primeval Dawn. Tigatron went on to join the Wreckers, and Tarantulas is Unicron's main general in Universe. But as I said, those are separate continuities, but I think Furman would prefer to focus on other characters that he has not used yet. Kinda like how the Vok won't be in this mini, since Furman used them in Primeval Dawn and said he wouldn't use them again until later. He could use Tigatron and the rest, I just don't think he'll use them right off the bat.

:pfx But I would have any characters that have a TM2 form stay that way. I would also add Snarl to the list.
