General

All Transformers, all the time -- from Generation 1 to "Animated", Michael Bay's Transformers franchise, and beyond.

  1. Started by Outrider74,

Megan Fox is already confirmed for the sequel, so what characters do you guys want to see, and/or what vehicles used for them? Here're mine: Brawn--These look good in Rescue Green also, but this color really sets off the truck I think. And besides, if Screamer, Jazz, Ratchet and Ironhide can have a color change, so can Brawn. Just needs bigger tires and a beefy roof rack. '08 Challenger in red as Cliffjumper. Yellow and red Corvettes as Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. I hate GM, but theyre gonna want to stay associated with the franchise. Ford GT as Wheeljack Chevy Avalanche as Soundwave. ATV as Ravage. Screamer clones as other seeke…

  2. Guest Primal-Convoy
    Started by Guest Primal-Convoy,

Now, I know that Mirage had an American accent in the G1 show, but if they were to re-use him, in say, Animated or wherever, would it make sense to have him as French, be it French-Canadian, or French-Cajun (a-la "Gambit"). Here's why: - He is/was an aristocrat - He objects to the war (Iraq anyone) - He looks down upon other autobots (VERY aristocratic and dare I say it, stereotypically French?) - He's a spy (I was thinking of those secret French spys that aided the allies against the Germans in Vichy-France in WW2) - His name is also French and English. From Wiki: - His Japanese name, "Ligie/Rigie" is also from the French Ligier Race …

  3. one of the inconsistancies between G1 and BW is that in BW, energon is a naturally occuring substance while in G1, it was syntheticly processed from other forms of energy. most people have chalked this up to Forward and DiTillio's unfamilarity with G1 but i've figured out to fix it. if i recall correctly, it was the Vok who seeded prehistoric Earth with energon. well, who's to say that the Vok's energon wasn't already syntheticly processed from another source, then they seeded Earth with it? that makes sense, what do you think?

  4. Started by shockprowl,

I got myself Barricade yesterday, my 1st movie fig other than proto Op. I'm not overly impressed with Barricade sadly. He's ok n'all, but i have a few issues with him. 1st, he feels alittle fragile, flimsy even, esp the roof section. 2nd, no weapon on him, other than his weird arm thingy. 3rd, no automorph. 4th, articulation is limited esp in the arms. And the angle of his lower legs/knee joint interferes with leg articulation also. What does everyone else think? And do all the movie figs have the same flimsy feel to them? Oh, another question for you, do you think he makes a good evil Prowl? (that's just one of my silly ideas)

When I was a kid, you knew it was a real transformer by the heat rub sticker, you know the one that you rubbed to reveal his true allegence. What ever happened to those? Do the G1 Reissues have them? I think that's the only thing really missing from 20th Ann. Prime and the alternators. When did they stop doing those? :tfevil

  6. Started by Outrider74,

In the news and rumors thread, theres a link to an interview with Michael Bay, where it shows Bumblebee, in his "70's looking car" form, just wondering what you guys think it'll be. My guess is nothing too big, and nothing too 'muscle car', like a Camaro, 442, GTO, etc. Im guessing nothing too crappy like a pinto or pacer, etc. Im thinking along the lines of a Nova, Dart, Vega, Duster, or Hornet type car. Not exactly badass muscle car, but with enough of that flavor to appeal to a teen. Or on one hand, he could be an import such as a 240Z, Datsun 510, or Karmann Ghia. Probably not a VW bug, since the writer would've recognized that. What do you guys thin…

  7. I finally got Devastator in and took some quick pics of him next to Fort Max...As it has been said, to say he was going to be larger was sadly overstated... Front View Side View With Legs Extended

  8. Started by Hot Rod,

for me, if they aren't in the movie, I have no real desire to own them. This is nothing new for me, I don't own any non show g1 guys.

  9. Started by SGC Gaiares,

Well I know some people don't like G1 at all so you might want to voice your opinion on why, no flaming.
