The only thing I never liked about G1 was the horrible voice acting. The actors they got for the newer shows really seem to fit the characters perfect.

Wow, that's a first. Never heard someone say the G1 voice actors sucked. Surely you're not including Peter Cullen, Neil Ross, Dan Gilvezan, Michael Bell, Chris Latta, Frank Welker, and ...oh, about everyone else in that, are you?

Yes I am

That's odd. The voice acting is one of G1's strongest points.

The thing I don't like about G1 is that people won't let it go. Every new figure has to be an homage to someone, and god forbid it not be named "properly". I realize this is more of a problem of the fans than of the series itself, but this is my main gripe.

Is ANYBODY REALLY a "Geewun purist"? Cause I know I'm tired of hearing about how everybody hates these imaginary individuals.

If anybody wants to see a forum with quite a few "G1-purists" I suggest heading over to Don Murphy's Tranformers Movie board.

You could also check TFormers.com's old archives. Check most of the old Energon and Armada articles out there and about 90% of them has some "GeeWun purist" or "H-A-S-B-L-O bashers" posting retarded crap in the reply threads. What's more annoying are people who make up conspiracy theories (mostly their alleged "evil schemes" against G1 and TFans) about Hasbro and Aaron Archer and claim it as fact, making them look like Michael Moore's future successors.
