All Transformers, all the time -- from Generation 1 to "Animated", Michael Bay's Transformers franchise, and beyond.

  1. Started by Thunderdirge,

So, hey. Don't think I saw a topic about this aside from a really old one on the eBay board, so I figured I'd bring it here for discussion after the product was actually bought and looked over, you know? Topic Of Review/Discussion I got one of these and wanted to share my thoughts on it. It cost 98 dollars total to get it to me, and as soon as I paid him, I had it in three days. He was damn fast with it, so kudos for that. First, the stuff inside is AWESOME. It came with a poster, various lovely Chinese coupons (with pics of Astro Boy, yay!), and a few trading cards with guys I had no clue who they are. It also came with an ID card of sorts, commemorating…

1/24 ScaleThere's been some talk of a Masterpiece/Alternators Megatron. I looked up the dimensions of an actual Abrams tank (which seems to be the popular alt. mode). Does this look feasible? MP OP is pretty big . . . would MP Megs be in the same size category (and therefore an OK size to sell?) Comments, questions, concerns, constructive criticisms are welcome. :wave Abrams Tank General Characteristics Length: 8.48 m (27.82 ft.) Width: 3.64 m (12 ft.) Height: 2.43 m (8 ft.) Weight: 69.5 tons Speed: 67 km/h (42 mph) (road), 48 km/h (30 mph) (off-road) Range: M1: 498 km (310 mi), M1A1: 465 km (288 mi), M1A2: 391 km (243 mi) Primary armament: M1: 105-…

  3. Started by Hot Rod,

okay, i've decided that i'm going to be okay with "created by an ancient long extinct bioligical race" as a history for the TFs.... for one, it's really the only thing that makes sense, for another, it gives them a certain mystique, not knowing where they really come from. It bugs me to no end that we have never had a definitive origin, as i have said before.... but if it's addressed in the movie or future shows, i hope it's this one.

  4. Started by Rotorstorm,

just out of interest why is there more enthusiasm about fort max than there was metroplex? myself i prefer metroplex as he had more screentime and him and tryptibabes fighting was just fun.

  5. Started by deceptikhan,

According to TF @ the moon Hasbro has filed for POWER CORE COMBINERS as transformable robots. fun now we get to speculate. Im thinking it has to do with the micronauts they mentioned last week. .. Maybe

  6. What do you want the next Transformers series to be based on? Vote in the poll here: http://tformers.com/pollBooth.php?pollID=452 Share your comments here on what direction you would like Transformers to go in.

  7. Started by MinionOfNodd,

I've seen quite a few fans backing out recently, either from collecting, or the fandom in general, or both. What's the reason for this? I'm not criticizing, I'm just curious if there is a specific reason for the sudden leave of more than a few fans, or if it's all coincidental. :tfhuh

  8. Inspired by a discussion in another topic (the many faces of Prime) I decided I wanted to hold a little poll. Are the Japanese Headmaster/Masterforce and Victory series part of what we consider G1? Before I start my arguments (which will lead to a firm no) I would like to express that I want to see well argumented posts here. I have good reasons to not consider the Japanese cartoons G1 and if anyone disagrees I would like to know why. Not simply the US cartoons are "ghey" or they suck. Tell us why you think so. Here are my arguments for not considering the Japanese cartoons G1. As everyone knows the Transformers originate from the Japanese Diaclone and Mic…

  9. I am done collecting transformers.......How many of you can say this and mean it? I was driving past a Target this morning and thought to run in to pick up a few things. As usual when ever i hit up one of these stores I go check out the toys sections to see what transformers they might have. As i got to the isle i was amazed that they had the new Titanium Thundercracker and Jetfire waiting for me to purchase. Also behind these two figures were the wave one releases of Prime and Megs. (already have one of each). I picked up both TC and JF and was about to walk off with them when i just realized something. Do i really need to get these guys? I mean they look cool and al…

  10. Hey all, I know that there have been talks about the kids from RID to Energon. So I ask this, why do they have to put kids in any Transformers cartoon, It's called Transformers not Kidformers. They should focus on the robots and not humans, and especially the annoying as hell kids. Why do kids have to be around Transformers, they shoulden't because they could get squished under the giant robot's feet.
