Just FYI: Several Chinese fans, including Remy and P.Prime, have confirmed that this is NOT licensed but a bootleg.

Yes. I mentioned this too.

And it's funny, how a lot of the guys selling these on eBay won't ship them inside China...

Now I know! I wondered why certain sellers on ebay from China won't ship

inside China. However, that is a very nice looking set. I'm glad the quality

is good.

But it still has G1 episodes on the DVDs.....

uh never mind.

I'm in CHina, and I just bought the DVD set for about 15 bucks US. however it didnt come with the toy...

yes it is Bootleg, but quality is good. not a bad investment for all G1 episodes

Eden: have you ever been able to find the G1 season 1 box (Rhino version), and the VCD sets of Headmasters and Masterforce (or any English-dubbed HM and MF sets)? I have the Victory VCD (English dub), but can't find the others...

Squelchthedestron:

I am mainly a early G1 fan and never really paid attention to the other stuff... sorry, but I am going to the shop where I get my stuff tomorrow so I can take a look for you.

what do you mean by Rhino box? I have seen the individual Season DVDs if that's what you mean...

are you in Shanghai?

which shop do you go to...

the 2 I go to most are on FUMIN Lu and CHANG LE Lu

and SAN XI BEI Lu and CHANG SO Lu...

Hey guys you have to check this out on Ebay. Its Ebay item#640374259. Now this is a cool item and I just had to buy it. Its all 98 episodes of G1 cartoons plus you get TF The Movie as well. Its all packaged in a TF decorated wooden box that comes with a giant sized TF poster along with a collectors certificate. There was only 2888 sets produced.

They were officially released in China but the dvds are region free which means they will play on any dvd player worldwide. The sets are here in the U.S according to the seller who has good feedback and a money back gaurentee. The dvds also in English for those who might worry about them being spoken in Chinese languages only.

Why did I buy it? Simple. I have yet to get the dvd boxsets of the TF and I saw this and I jumped at it, hell all 98 episodes PLUS TF:The Movie? Why not?

Shipping may be a little high but you get them quick and the case the dvds are packaged in looks cool as hell.

I know this should have been put on "Seen it on Ebay" but I just wanted to let those interested know that this seems to be a sweet deal for the TF G1 Cartoons on dvd that some of us may have yet to get.

I was thinking of getting one but it was listed in PSS, so it would have cost me like $200 USD. Maybe if I find it cheaper...

Hey Trip,

Whats PSS buddy? It may be a stupid question but just curious. If they would have listed it at $200 I would have passed no doubt about it. Dont have those kinds of funds to spare thats for sure!

Is this the one issued in Hong Kong?

Nope Rumble this is the one that was issued in China. Just got off the phone with a Cust Serv rep with the company thats offering them on Ebay. She said they were an exclusive and the ones that are being offered on Ebay are selling very fast and once they are gone she dont know if they can get anymore being that were only produced on a limited basis.

So get one if you can or are interested!
