my god, everyone is on my case today :tfmad

It's clear that the Preadacons are second class citezens, if they were on equal ground why would Ratrap have so much Bigotry towords them?

Scorpinok was a genious, remember the Cyberbee, that one Virus that made Prime Crazy, not single Minded grunt could do that.

That was about the only smart thing I recall him doing. Aside from that he did not display too much intelligence if I recall.

And Rattrap, the chronic complanter that he is, has probably always distrusted Predacons. I do not trust the French for one but that that does not mean all of them are bad. I dislike them just as much as Rattrap dislikes the Predacons, which is not saying anything.

So Rattrap not liking the Predacons does not really say anything about the Predacons status. They have access to very sophisticated technology and their own council so they are not treated all that bad.

I wouldn't call BW Scorponok stupid. He is just blindly loyal and prefers Megatron to tell him what to do. But he's obviously smart when it comes to viruses and mechanics.

I don't agree with EVERYTHING the ultimate guide says (it pisses me off as to how Furman tries to act like the comics he wrote are superior to the cartoon continuity), but the 'cons DID hold gladiator matches to prove their worth.

The Comics have more character development and better thought out storyarcs overall than the G1 Cartoon could hope to accomplish. Each continuity has it's good and bad, but the Comics are more solid overall. I mean at it's core the comics have much better ideas for the characters. That's just the way it is.

And Furman can come off as a jerk in that book, cause it's HIS guide book. He can kind of do what he wants. Just saying...

Its the guide to Furman's Transformers

Furman did write the most of the Transformers comics so I'd say he is a definete expert on things.

Personally I liked the comics better than the tv show. They generally had more depth, especially now. It is neat seeing Alexis as an environmentalist instead of her working for the government.

no-he's-not He's only an expert on the things he has written, did you read the RID section? He made no mention of anything spisific to the show.
