OK, for Transfancon this year, I'm making a lifesize, 6 foot tall Sparkdrinker! (Metroplex's Saw) It's currently drawn on the wood, and will be cut out and painted tonight!

The last time I posted my custom was Exillion hot rod. Which was far too common. So I wanted to do something less common. But I guess Someone is already working on it and looking very professional. ok heres some early pics of a project that me and my buddy are building. its always bothered me how small the original metroplex toy was, that he couldn't be used as an actual city for the toys. me and a good friend of mine have been working on this idea for about a year now, having worked through various concepts for the project. now we have finally begun the long, and expensive process of building him. so here goes, 'masterpiece' metroplex!

I've been thinking about this for a long time now. how do you get that head folded back into the plane? after working in the studio for a while tonight I sat down and tried to think about this ongoing source of frustration. Then it dawned on me! now I realize the cone is a little tall but that can be remedied. anyway, thanks for lookin' :)
