don't worry, I'm planning and measuring to death I think. I draw out and measure things before I cut the styrene. Plus, unless I know its right, I'm not glueing it. I'm also not glueing alot of pieces yet because I plan on mold casting the parts. Most of the parts are held together by tape.

I have faith that this project will turn out well. Your work never ceases to amaze. Looking good so far. Hope it turns out as well as that scratch-built WW Optimus Prime by Jarrod.

I am planning a scratchbuilding project and was wondering, What wieght styrene would you suggest using?

I like .04 inches. Thick enough to give good support, yet thin enough to cut fairly easily.

I'm looking forward to seeing this. :thumb

if this turns out well, i hope hasbro takes note of this...

man, we have SO MANY VERY well built customs - be it alts repainted, alts redone in other characters, and in this case scratch built - that i wonder if hasbro REALLY is TRYING to get a glimpse of WHAT us transfans are wanting...

i'm still in AWE about their choice of ravage... the ragtop vette could have gone to another more worthy decepticon...

sigh.

at any rate, i do cross fingers and hoep they see this.

keep up the good work VP!

i'm still waiting to save up enough to buy my alts and for your custom repros! i HAVEN'T forgotten yet! :D

Thank you very much.

I can barely contain myself! :bounce Just remember to detail the exaugast pipes and make sure the forward treads arent too blocky like on 10fingers's site. Just a tip. :tfgrin
