The War Within Grimlock scratch build

Recommended Posts

Didn't the autobots create the dinobots when they came to earth? I don't remember ever hearing about them being around before the great war.

The Autobots did indeed build the Dinobots in the cartoon series, but in the comic they had a completely different origin. And welcome to TFans.

...... 42 different stories.... It's like politics today!

Thanks for the heads up on Grimlock. But I just have trouble seeing him smart... It was bad enough when I watched the old G1 cartoon where he gets smart I kept thinking he was going to start talking in a british accent any minute. "Oh I am going to give you a ratha good thrashing... after tea time."

A very good start... Excited to see the completed job... btw where or how u get the plastic parts??

you can buy styrene at most hobby shops.

"Most." :redface

just a quick update. Added some stuff and also cropped the sides a bit and sanded down the neck protector per scottie bee's suggestion. don't mind the gaps as those can be easily filled in with putty later on and sanded.

Good luck with making this one. Considering your past work I have every confidence that something extremely good will come out of it.

I think many fans will envy you for having this one when he's complete.

Update: started on the torso (pictured), thigh (not pictured), and front tracks/shoulders (pictured). Again, feedback greatly welcomed. FYI, 6 inches across from shoulder to shoulder.
