Totally PERFECT

There's not enough :drool to express how much I like those more than the original versions.

Good God. Amazing. Normally the overly detailed "games workshop" approach to painting tfs looks weird, but you pulled it off with flying colours.

well done, that man.

oh and im love with your ninja robot. i KNEW the movie bots would look good with a more "mecha" paint scheme. bringing the "wirey skeleton" bits that are dark grey and black in the movie designs and painting them the same colours as the "blocky armour pieces" really adds more impact to the character and makes them not look like "Mumber Johnny Five with pieces of car hanging off of him".

Your old metallic classics megatron is also a joy to view too.

Thanks everyone! I'd love to see more movie repaints from all of you all too! Who's got a favorite character they're workin on, hmmmm?

Well,l I just started got started with Jazz,

I'm trying to give him a decent set off hands,

And what I'm useing to make those are the tentacles/claws from 5 inch movie dock ock( in scale with the spiderman movie 3 series)...

Great work! I always like to see a TF with a matte finish. :thumb I'm willing to bet you cut your teeth on some Games Workshop Warhammer 40,000 models, as the shading, etc is very similar -am I right?

Can't wait to see that. I was looking over the 5" claws myself and will be picking some up for Frenzy-fingers probabaly when the SM3 figs go on sale.

I actually learned how to paint by a Games Workshop painting pamphelt I found. My RPG friends were painting them too and they helped me jump into the whole deal. Then I snagged a job at comic stores, moving up to a Sci-Fi store where I was contracted to make armies of the lil' guys! So yep, GW minis have a place in my history. You can apply the same techniques to anything, Marvel legends, statue, Transformers, etc.

I love your version of Wreckage... Im making one like that as well! Im doing some touch-up's on Prime and Iron Hide and Ratchet right now. Adding scratches, paint chips and some more movie acurate colors. Jin, your figures inspire me to bump up to another level. Keep up the good work and if you do a Movie Prime I would love to see what some of your color choices are!
