hey thanks for the amazing response on this guys. I've gotten some painting done. the rest will be hand painted. I made a cast of the head to try out an adjustment. so, what do you think? tall cone or short cone? the face is exactly the same. the only thing different is the cone itself. I can't quite decide on which one to go with but I'm leaning towards the shorter cone. also it'll be easier to transform.

 

NS13StarFire, sorry bud, the wings will be attached at the hips. :(

WarriorPriest, the head is a g1 cone head and an mp starscream head pieced together. the transformation is covered in the first post.

syp & Azure_Dragoon, Thrust's wings were drawn out tonight. he's next ;)

I think the tall cone stands out abit better against the shoulder vents as well.

 

Also, do you have vertical tail fins planned? Back of the jet mode looks a little flat as is. Trimmed down version of the stock tailfins, closer to the thrusters would probably work. Or some angled tips on the ends of the wings might be enough.

 

Nce job, that's some pretty creative mod work so far.
