All the head looks good, but I do prefer the long cone as most does here. Well you can always cheat and just have the head or cone removable and reattached between transformation. Anyways, can't wait for the finished painted product.

Looks great so far. I prefer the long cone, too bad it doesn't fit. Could you make the cone telescope out from the head? That way you can push it in for Jet mode and pull it out for bot mode.

I vote mid sized cone as well and just for astetics it looks like it could use being more rouded but you do't eed me to tell you that. It looks like you are pretty much prepared for all cotingencies. ^_^

:blaugh thanks for all the suggestions guys. I appreciate your enthusiasm! I'm going with a middle sized head. but only about an 1/8 inch shorter than the tall one. I figured out a point where I can drill inside his ribcage area where the tip can fit in.

len_d69, thanks for the diagrams. I think it might be a little late in the game to make that adjustment. good eye though. I'll think about it while I finish up the master tomorrow. and it turns out panel-lines are quite easy. I wonder if hasbro's looking for a panel line-ist? is the application form printed on a sheet of styrene?

Azure_Dragoon, the base part of the head is actually the same on all three. I think the three different angles are to blame. the shorter heads are cast off the tall one. the cones are just sanded down.

VPRIME, the telescopic idea did cross my mind. haint' no way I could pull that off. ;)

quick update. the wings are done, minus some red touch us. the head on him at the moment is just the middle one from before. I did a quick paint job on it and threw it on for kicks.
