Some of us usualyy complain that Has/Tak is not making proper use of trademark names or they come with silly names for new toys. Which do you think is and was a good name for a transformer and which is and was a bad name as well. Please don't start any ramblings like E downshift shloud have been named wheeljack cause its better. Just state which names you like, which you dont and why.

well i've checked and saw many cool icons on that site and some people wanted particular ones KP wants the seacons and i want energon starscream so i'm curious what do you all want to see

Are you able, as an adult collector (that's 18+ for all of you youngsters out there), to explain why, after 20+ years, Transformers still interests you enough to buy childrens toys, watch childrens cartoons, and spend all fricken day discussing it on internet message boards? Alot of you will say "nostalgia" but alot of people are nostalgic about alot of things and they don't spend thousands of dollars annually on those things. I mean face it, we have to spend well earned money, go on the "hunt", face possible persecution by those around us just to enjoy our "childish" hobby. I don't know why I do it or why i love transformers so much. I don't "dig" cars or anything…

I think all the new shows, Beast Wars,Beast Machines,RID,Armada and Energon all suck! I prefer G1 over all of these versions of Transformers. Its too bad that the creators of the new series didnt continue the story after Rebirth! That would have been interesting. :tfgrin

Back at home over Christmas, I picked up a cheap British BW DVD - five eps for about five quid. For some reason, this "Beast Wars Vol. 1" starts towards the end of season 2, and overlaps into season 3, which was perhaps a good thing, as I was utterly hooked by Optimal Situation. Just last night, I finished watching the whole lot. Understandably, I have a few questions, none of which I can be bothered to formulate right now... (though basically I'm curious as to how much a TF's personality is supposedly determined by it's spark and how much by it's programming, and why did a mere "clone" of the original Dinobot develop an identical sense of honour when it's spark was…

From The Seattle Times: CLONUS director says he's seen this clone story before By Mark Rahner Seattle Times DVD writer Here's an irony alert — and a lawsuit alert: a new movie about clones appears to be an uncredited clone of another movie. Director Michael Bay's new science-fiction blockbuster has drawn comparisons to the '70s classics "Logan's Run" and "Coma." But "The Island" looks so much like 1979's CLONUS a.k.a. PARTS: THE CLONUS HORROR (available on DVD from Mondo Macabro, $19.95) that its director says he may seek a federal injunction to stop THE ISLAND's distribution. "Clonus" is an obscure cheapie with a fascinating premise, best known …

saw this at Aintitcool.com http://www.aintitcool.com/node/33164 TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED: Now With Less Decepticon!! I am – Hercules!! As reported here last week, the Cartoon Network will begin transmitting early next year the new “Transformers Animated†series. More details have emerged on the project – notably a diminished role for the dastardly Decepticons. From Monday’s Hollywood Reporter: Cartoon and Hasbro execs said the new series, "Transformers Animated," will be significantly different than the others, adding humor, never-before-seen characters and a new premise in which the Autobots fight evil humans in Superhero fashion much more…

I have heard that Cybertron is supposed to continue where energon left off with unicron dead and everything....... but of course they cant get it right..... 1) when optimus and leobreaker first combine, one of the autobots say that they have never heard of any transformers linking up (or something along those lines).....wasnt that the whole gimmick with energon? 2) when wing saber shows up for the first time they say he had fought with prime in the great war...thats all fine and dandy i buy that....but then it says that he even took a shot at him and was a bad soldier doing things his own way and such, then he starts making hotshot dance, again not the wingsaber i…

in the opening moments of beast wars season 3 when megatron is gloating about his victory during the time storm he says "i megatron have triumphed. if you listen real close with the volume turned up he says YES with a deep dry and powerful type of voice. now some would simply see that as him making a heart felt effort to emulate his ancestor's voice all together. but from what i've been reading on the net over the years hasbro explained primal's resemblance to his autobot ancestor away as being a way for the maximal elders to honor the noble beliefs of optimus prime. when it comes to primals origins though in that area some have interpreted that as meaning that …
