I think all the new shows, Beast Wars,Beast Machines,RID,Armada and Energon all suck!

I prefer G1 over all of these versions of Transformers.

Its too bad that the creators of the new series didnt continue the story after Rebirth! That would have been interesting.

I think the story -was- continued after 'Rebirth', in the various Japanese TF 'toons (headmasters, etc)

Yes I believe you are right but I dont understand why it wasnt brought to North America!

I prefer G1 over all the rest also, but after going back and watching G1 again, I am sad to say it isnt quite as good as I remember. :tfsad

The same thing happened to me when I watched the first season box-set. We were/are some real sucker's. :tflaugh It always hurts when the nostalgic blinders are torn off.

it wasn't continued "after" Rebirth. The Japanese Headmaster series takes place "in place" of Rebirth, and the other Japanese series continue after that.

Ok whichever.. i just wished that there was a continuation after Rebirth.

Ahhhh, the sweet narcotic called nostalgia. Yes G1 is cool, but honestly, a couple of the newer series are better.

You made some very good points as too why you dont enjoy any of the new series though :tfhuh

Beast wars, now that ive downloaded and watched a bunch, has better character development and a great story arc. This is a fantastic series.

Energon is exciting and is producing some very cool toys. I LOVE the crisp cel shaded animation, it brings the robots much more life. We've only seen 2 episodes and already im waiting in anticipation for the next one.

Well I dont think the animation is better..its too Japanese anime for my liking but I understand that this is where most cartoons are coming from.

Cool pic of Galvatron Vik....where can I get one of Rodimus and how do I put it on here?
