Just curious. There seems to be so much animosity towards G1 and it's fans, particularly when discussing the new movie or recent cartoons. I mean even Bay gets in the act... Wired July 2007 I just don't get it...Yeah I like G1. I was 8 when G1 came out after all. I didn't know a well written story from a pile of crap. I didn't care at the time. They were just damn cool. Technology advanced and along came BW and BM. I loved BW and BM because they were very well written, so much more so than the original series. Yet they still had a tie into the nostalgia of G1. Im wondering, why is BotCon held much later than the other cons, ie Comic con, Anime con, the GI Joe con. and most of the fans(teens to college students) are in school already.

Why is BB so popular? Anybody know why? Just curious.... I was lucky enough to find the 2009 Concept Camaro version... But was just wondering, b/c just after the movie came out, e-bay was full of BB's, both versions (1976 and 2009) is it 08 or 09 - i'm confused??? like you see on every bulletin board...

from their portrayal in the armada cartoon, minicons hardly seem like they're even sentient, much less that they actually object to being exploited. they seem to be nothing more than mindless drones that can only speek in beeps. and not even binary beeps, mind you, but the same old "beep-beep-beep" sound effect almost everytime. seriously, the armada kids getting upset over the exploitation of minicons makes them seem even crazier than G1 Tailgate.

seriously, by most people's difinitions, G1 is any series which has characters named Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Starscream. the G1 fans just can't seem to distinguish between a real G1 character and a new character that is a homage to them. by that logic, the statue in the Lincoln Memorial is not a statue but Abe Lincoln himself.

I still don't get the hatred for Rebirth. It's not quite the suckfest you people make it out to be. It certainly scores higher (IMO) on the watchability scale than RiD and Armada. Is it the Nebulons? The lack of Dinobots? No Munkky Prime? What is it? And please, no flaming.

Why i get the feeling Takara is rushing out with the release of Galaxy Force? Superlink/Energon is not done yet, a lot of the figures haven't been released. Maybe superlink will get the GEE, AXE US treatment earlier than expected. Is Energon going to get axed next?

It seems alot of times that some threads here will not load for me no matter what. It's like that link is just dead. I click and wait and it times out everytime. It's really random that I can see, anyone have any insight?

Has anyone notice how expensive the Transformer movie score is now? People are bidding up to fifty dollars on Ebay and Amazon has it being sold from third party sellers for over a hundred dollars?! It isn't that old, it just came out in October! Is the score now out of print? It seems to be sold out everywhere.
