me either.. i just know Optimus was kicking @ss

Strange, I don't remember him doing sh*t in Rebirth. David Wise said that he wrote him in to the story just because he liked the character.

BTW I also liked that scene where he's jamming the matrix into Vector Sigma... "COME ON, GET IN THERE!"

ZOMG CONTINUITY alert!!1 I bet that Vector Sigma became the Oracle (i.e. connection between TFs and the (capital M) Matrix) when it merged with the autobot leaders in the matrix and stuff IT IS TRUE BECAUSE I JUST THOUGHT OF IT

REbith had a lot of potential...it just never flew un fortunatly. I mean we have Daniel FINaLLY not being a boy hostage, Spike offically well...Autobot Spike lol...and Zarak had some great promise. while yes every character was just crammed in (My Autobot couterpart? THAT line could have been omitted) some of the cameos were good, like 6 shot taking down the Arial bots, and Pounce and Wingspan...I also liked the target masters WAY better than the japanese one.

I don't like Rebirth.

Why? For all of the above reasons. Especially the part where the Nebulons of the "Hive" has bodies which are "now totally useless," yet most of the Nebulons depicted can give Arnold Schwarzenegger a run for his money.

The fact that Optimus Prime came back to life to lead was a low point in the "4th season" as well, seeing how he wasn't a very good leader to begin with, and once he took over, the Decepticons regained control of the planet if it wasn't for Fortress Maximus coming out of nowhere to save his ass.

Don't even get me started on Fortress Maximus. What Spike did was impossible and incredulous in every way possible. Even when I was a kid, I was insulted to know that the writers think of kids being so dumb.

And the introduction of G1S4 characters came so fast that there wasn't even time to know who the heck they were. Besides the Duocons and the Monsterbots, every characters/toy from the 4th series were introduced in the last "season" for G1, making it even more of a toy commercial than the preceeding seasons.

Did I tell you guys I don't like Rebirth?

I liked rebirth...Once you watch the comentarys about it, it makes a little more sense why it was so fast paced. It was supposed to be, or the writers thought they had, five episode to hash out this story, however hasbro said No you got three. I still like it. one of my favorite "seasons" if you can call it a season. MOre like a mini-series :-) I Def liked the Battle between Fort Max and Scorponok!

I Love when people pull the "its not Believable" line in Transformers....I mean you believe in Giant transforming robots from another world that can think and feel as we do, but you can't just go with the stories and believe that Spike, Using alien machines, could build a city robot? I mean the planet was covered in those machines that the nebulons themselves used, and is no more unbelievable then when the 6 Constructicons without any machine help, just their hands built Trypticon in the same manner. If you really think about it....nothing is believable. If you can say, how are we to know if there really are giant transforming robots then how can you guess on what they or other alien races can do? You can't. Plus, it’s a TV cartoon...just go with it for entertainment sakes! lol.

My only complaint really was that that was it, and we never got more. I wanted more Fort Max for danged sure, more of Prime and Magnus, and the toys that came out didn't get any air time hardly.

Plus it meant no trainbots. I need more trainbots.

    • The last major Transformers-related item uncovered from the storage of former Sunbow producer Flint Dille back in 2020 is now available online. Flint's character binder, which received its last update on December 3rd, 1986. Nearly all of the 1987 toy lineup is represented within its 333 pages, as well as a copy of Bob Budiansky's treatment for the Marvel Comics' Headmasters miniseries. Due to its size at 333 pages, the binder has been split up into three galleries, which can be viewed at the Sunbow Marvel Archive: The Sunbow Marvel Archive: Briefing/Reference Binder galleries
    • In a wave comprised entirely of 5 straight reissues and 3 redecos. A wave where one of the 3 "new character" redecos is a troopbuilder. A wave where one of the redecos is the 14th reuse (and counting) of its base mold. A wave where one of the redecos is the 15th reuse (and counting) of its base mold. They couldn't find it in the budget to make sure Armada Wheeljack came with Wind Sheer free of charge. Weren't reissues and redecos supposed to be put in waves to balance the budget out on other figures that might eat up more of said budget? To make it so that other one time only molds or characters that need more paint apps or accessories or are larger be made? That's what they said right? So why wasn't that implemented here? It's an entire wave at all three size classes of nothing but budget savers.  I don't like to shit on Hasbro but c'mon man. This is some bullshit.
