Oh yeah, they did show Overload in robot mode ONCE. It was when Hoist using Demolisher's voice or vice versa was giving a tactical analysis on Unicron.

I really felt the minicon activated gimmicks detracted from the Armada toys.

I think that the Powerlinking gimmick takes away much more from the energon toys than the mini-con gimmik. I liked the mini-con gimmik. Megatron looks great with 20 mini-cons on him. :tfevil I can't think of a single toy that the mini-con gimmik subtracts from.

Scavanger, Hotshot, Thrust just to name a few.

the cartoon was alright, I just dont like the dialogue and those annoying kids who are characters in the show. Energon so far is heck alot better than Armada. For the Armada comic, I liked it. But I only have one of the issues. :tfsad

What I hate about Armada is it's Pokemon drawings and silly story line.

 

It's so freaking gay! Most of the characters are so annoying. I'd rather listen to Wheelie talk than any of the Armada characters. Hell, Daniel was more tolerable than those moron kids in Armada. Energon's Kicker? I'd take Spike and his exo-suit anyday.

 

How can you go from an awesome storyline in Beast Wars (I'd take BM over Armada anyday) to Armada? Wasn't Beast Wars targeted for kids during it's day?

 

These people are ruining Transformers. Were these Jerks in charge of producing Armada even TF fans to begin with?

 

I bet kids today would appreciate TF more if they kept it ala G1 or BW style.

 

One more thing: Why is it everytime a TF transforms in Armada, he's got to do an action pose? If they're gonna pose, pose when they need to like when Prime leaped in the air blasting away at Decepticons in TFTM. Not every G D time.

The toys are my main attraction, didn't read the comic, and couldn't stomach the show. Dug this up from another thread:

Armada hit the ground running right after RID, which for the most part featured TF's with good articualtion and complex transformations. My expectations where high, and aside from a couple of figures(Unicron, Wheeljack, Bendy Prime) it didn't deliver. I don't play with TF's like I used too, and I'd prefer to put them in cool poses on my shelf and goof with them every once and a while. I don't want to stare at Optimus and imagine his legs moving, I want them to move. Armada had some good points, but I prefer to leave it in the dust and enjoy my MPP, Alty's and Energon.

SupremeKaioshin, please lay off the 'gay'. Lame, sucks, dislike...I'm sure you can use something else to describe your Armada angst.

I remember Demolishor using Hoist's voice during the Unicron Battles, but I don't remember seeing Overload. But yeah, you gotta love characters having the wrong voice.

I liked Armada.

I liked a few of the toys, but the line was mostly bad.
