Long story here... I went to Toys R' Us this evening; I was sick, nose running, coughing, fever... It's on my way home from work, and I just wanted to check to see if there was any new toys. Upon arrival in the Transformers section, I was greeted with a mighty wall of Transformers Classics figures. 4 of all of the deluxes, 3 Primes, 5 Megatrons, and 2 Anniversary Primes. Simply amazing! Now I already have all of Classics, but I did promise my best friend, and my Brother-in-Law that, if I found them, I would pick them up a set. Quickly I make a call, and ask both of them if they are still interested...and they both were! I also noticed a sale sign. …

To my pleasant surprise, I found Titanium Scourge and Optimal Optimus last Friday at TRU. Needless to say, I grabbed them on the spot, along with a free Scrapmetal, and ran like hell for the checkouts. (figuratively speaking that is) I'll start with Scourge. First off, they found a way to get even WORSE with twist ties! :wtf They were pretty tightly wound and in places hard to get to to cut making it a real pain to free. Upon doing so, I discovered that the legs do pop off rather easily, but on a scale quite as bad as Prime and megs. They are ball jointed, but not real loose or real tight. While overall he looks nice, he's better off as a display piece. Se…

http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=113067 Edit: , IIRC, BBTS passed on stocking the Megatron reissue the last time due to the legal issues related to it. So if you're counting on BBTS to get one, it might be a good idea to check with them first.

How much a Beast War II Lio Convoy is worth? I don't see them very often, so it's hard to make an idea.

Ok, so I'm going though a bunch of pics on my computer and I started finding a few that I had forgotten about. As i went through the bunch I came across some older pics I had of the Beast Wars Battle Helmets from the first wave. I know it comes up from time to time as to why they were there. We now know it was an idea scrapped at the last moment before making the show, but the toys were already out. Thus...a quirky gimmick that gets a lot WTF moments from newer fans. So I say we start a topic to help newer fans and old fans alike to find the hidden meaning behind those exrtra wheels or that unused cockpit. If we can, Try to add pics or links of the hidden alt modes an…

I just wonderd something: after looking at some of the new official picks of jetfire (frome the new data base on TFormers.com) I wonder if that the whole helmet thing is actually a "double head" being, that you turn the head around you get the face look then turn it again you get the helmet look. what if the helmet is not removable or doesn't fold down?

I was scouting for toys today and found an a$$load of the twentieth with talking base. The voice coming out of the base is a total joke....Seriously. Who the hell did they get to do this thing? Aside from this, the paint apps look odd. The colors are more dull and flat instead of glossy and the blaster is blue. Does anyone know if this thing still has metal in it? My buddy seemed to think it was all plastic. I disagreed but really with the additional weight of the base I couldn't tell by only holding the box and I don't plan on getting one as I have one of the first runs.

Classics Starscream is just the latest example of overzealous safety regulations. I mean his missile(launher)s are far too big. And of course the government will say that it is nessecary but how many have actually hurt themselves while playing with their Transformers. I never got hurt by the small missiles that came with the Turbomasters or Predators for example. The only thing that comes close would be Fortress Maximus and I am not talking about him breaking. If you transform him and your finger gets caught between two sections that would really hurt. I have had it myself a few times, I will admit that. Aside from that, I NEVER had any problems whatsoever wit…
