What are your local stores doing? I saw the layout sheet for the shelves at my Wal*Mart and they have a spot for Alternators. Target has some as well. Wally World went for a while without stocking the Alts, now they're back. I wonder what the deal was... I thought they were going to be re-releasing the older ones that were so hard to find: Deadend, Meister, etc...

When you look at your TF Classics, do you have any storyline thoughts on the line. It's been over a decade since I really played with toys but I can't help but imagining a storyline spiraling out from the toys. For instance: I display Cybertron Smokescreen with mine and imagine that he's Actionmaster Rad, who got a redeco to honor his fallen friend Smokescreen. I imagine the line taking place in a G1 Cartoon-like continuity where Rodimus once had the Matrix and lost it after Optimus Prime returned. I see him as a mature but hotheaded lieutenant, searching for his place and, in spite of the loss of the Matrix, becoming closer and closer to what he was as Au…

Don't know if there's a thread about this. If so I wish I saw it. Since I started collecting vintage G1 again, I have been hearing random stuff about breakage. Things or comments I have heard or wish I heard. Issues like this toy has a fragile joint, so don't bother transforming him at that part. So put up your warnings. All lines, not just G1. Here are some of my warning or warnings I heard form her fans: 1. Watch out for G1 Misfire's targetmaster, Aimless. It's best to leave him in the gun mode or bot mode. Supposely the hinge joint is very fragile and can break easily. Poor design. Heard this from a couple of fans. 2. Don't bother opening Hardhead's ch…

Feel free to merge or delete if this is old news, but I just now noticed that my Prime (from the 2 pack, the robotmasters-ish one) has two left shoulder pieces, instead of a left and a right! Anybody else notice this? :wtf

Hey all, I was just curious about something. I had the Micromaster Countdown set when I was a kid and I'm thinking about trying to buy it again. It was a sweet set. I looked on ebay and only found one complete...FOR $95!??!? Is this set rare or something?? I mean, it was cool and all for micromasters, but seriously, wtf??? :tfhuh

went to target today. shelfs were mostly empty. tfs and star wars including alts were 25%. picked up gf vector prime for less than 14 bucks. also saw a bunch of han and chewy for 50% off at 17.48. check out your target

They were $50 and i've been waiting for them to go lower to get one to kitbash into nemesis prime, but i went tonight and all 15+ of them were gone at the price of $25 (the tag said $25.00). I was hoping to get one... sucks i missed it...

They all seem to be tangents from the original sub-teams... we have Dinobots, the Predator team (Predacons), Demolitions team (Constructicons/Combaticons, really shoulda been two teams), Night Rescue team (Protectobots), Dirt Digger (?) team (Stunticons)... Clear Skies team (Aerialbots). If you take everything away from the original teams but their concepts, you could totally go in this direction. Now all we need is a military team with a misplaced construction vehicle, a team of monsters, a team of sea creatures, and a team of... techno...thingies... :D

I went on a hunt yesterday, and it looks like my TRU is about to restock from Christmas. All the different pegs had either a yellow strip of paper with some numbers, a strip of green tape, or both. Does anyone know what those numbers mean? Are they restocking? Discontinuing? :tfhuh
