Toys

Nert nert whirr click! What would Transformers be without toys? Share the love of all things plastic and die-cast in here.

  1. Like the title says, I havent got a clue why but my G1 Prime has a really lightish blue interior and roller and my loose prime is navy blue, any ideas ????????????

  2. Started by Hot Rod,

Just curious, and if you are planning on removing, how? Do we even know what kind of orange tip the online stores are talking about putting on?

  3. Looking at what's been released in terms of product listings as well as test shots and catalog scans, theres really not that much American released Transformers to last till May. I look at the remaining Classics and it had a short life, sold out within the first day it was released. A line with no promotion, nothing, besides the occasional smart ass dumbBlot comments in Toy Fair " Oh hur hur Megatron is a purple gun huuur." :redface Yet, it's been out? How long, like 3 - 4 months? Not sure, sounds right, but yet it did well, it still sells out pretty quick. Now we have a few Titanium releases and thats about it... Blah Blah, skip to early to mid May, we have Protof…

  6. ...that Megatron will look anything like this? My guess is that he probably will have nasty gaps in him once transformed. I'll be getting him even so via my contact on ebay. Also why does the illustration look cooler? I noticed that with SS too, hmmmmm.

  9. Started by bluestreak1701,

I for one am relatively happy with the colour schemes to date. I know that some people have repainted their classics or added stickers to make them more closely resemble the G1. Although these customs looked great and I was half tempted to do the same I ulitmately decided to leave them as they are. (With the exception of Magnus' face which was sheer laziness rather than a modern approach) I think that they manage to serve as a great homage to the G1 characters as well as providing a bit of variety and in some cases improving over the original schemes. I personally think that ramjet, skywarp and mirage have better colour schemes as well as modern designs when compared to …

  10. I've seen this mentioned in one or two places, but I thought this should get its own thread (unless there's one already). In the toy section at an endcap, Wal-Mart has Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Brawn, and Windcharger using the original G1 molds hanging on pegs. The only difference is that now they have a loop for a keychain, which can be removed. At $3 each, I bought two sets for $24 total.
