Just curious, and if you are planning on removing, how? Do we even know what kind of orange tip the online stores are talking about putting on?

I was just about to ask is the orange plug BBTS is adding removable. So, is the orange timp removable? If it is, no problemo. I'm excited about him.

if they're going by the law the plug has to be permenant. btw, A3U says MP05 will be in bot mode so no need to modify, you can get it there for $94.99 and a flat $8.99 shipping fee. it's coming from canada but i doubt it's be a problem

I'll buy my MP-5 without the orange tip.

If I get MP Megatron and if I get one with an orange tip (still looking into possibilities and also wondering how strict Dutch customs would be with this), the if possible I will remove it if it's doable without any serious work. Nothing to serious or potential damaging: would be kind of stupid to ruin the look of a MP figure while attempting to improve the look.

Maybe it will look cool with it on?

But maybe that's the G2 luv in me...too much gray and black :emotron

I would have to assume with all of the ingenuity we have that someone would be able to figure out a way to remove the orange nasty.

...I may be wrong though. Maybe I have too much faith....

why have I been hearing rumors that megs will be in robot mode. Therefore no tip necessary.

I ordered mine from a place that is getting him w/o the orange tip modification done to him. I'm sorry, but I prefer my toys coming in original packaing not handled and taken out and then put back in in an unappealing fashion and then shipped and then comes to me.

So that's how I got mine. Other than him, the only thing I need from Megatrons and Optimus that I've missed from the real early years and stuff (Mostly involving G1 and 2), are G1 Prime, Megatron, G2 Lazer Rod Prime and G2 Megatron.
