Classics Minicons

Recommended Posts

thanks to you Afterburners i scraped up enough change to pick up the dinosaur team >_>

the one i thought i wasn't going to like, Terrorsaur (the t-rex) ended up being my favorite over all. swoop would be better if he was taller and wow swoop and knockdown have pretty interesting transformations for minicons, the legs folding down was a neat idea. i also just noticed that knockdown doesn't have any eyes in dino mode

EDIT

and when i say change, i mean change... thankfully walmart has those self checkout things because i think the cashier would have gotten mad as most of it was nickels and dimes >_>

Good boy! Enjoy!

I still don't like the assignment of the Terrorsaur name to a Dinobot who doesn't transform into a Pterosaur!! They should've called this toy "Fractyl" - that way it's still a tribute to the Terrorsaur mould, as well as to the Fractyl character, and also the name wouldn't semantically clash with the alt mode either. Also, Fractyl's persona would better suit an Autobot than Terrorsaur's. :P

I keep seeing the Destruction Team at shops... and yeah... "f'ugly" is the word. d:

Fractyl makes LESS sense for T-Rex style predator than TERRORSAUR does. Not every Transformer needs an oh so witty alt mode based name pun!

Heck, isn't that the reason we mock Gobots? Cy-Kill! GET IT? GET IT?!

Get what?

Oh! He's a motorcycle and he's named Cy-Kill. Hee hee. That's clever.

Considering that Terrorsaur's robot mode is asymmetrical, I think Fractyl would be an ideal name for the toy and a far more accurate descriptor than a play on the word "pterosaur" for a Transformer who clearly isn't one. Transformer names don't have to based on a pun, but they shouldn't be contrary to the nature of that toy either. Transformer names typically are a reference to the alt mode and/or character personality. I dunno if you really want to associate "terror" with what's supposed to be a heroic character.

the destruction team is so ugly that they're awesome. i dunno why. it's kinda like those baby's that are so ugly their cute.

All minicons are ugly what's your point. :tflaugh

I have yet to buy any of the classic minicons. maybe soon. :thumb
