Toys

Nert nert whirr click! What would Transformers be without toys? Share the love of all things plastic and die-cast in here.

  1. Started by Buddykiller,

how easily do toys pick up that dreaded smoke smell? i ask because my mother-in-law smokes, but she isn't allowed to smoke in our bedroom. our walls are still white while hers and the rest of the house's walls are already turning yellow. i'm starting to contemplate taking my toys down are storing them in plastic tubs. i really don't want to, but i don't want my toys turning yellow and stinking either. any suggestions? i'm also getting ready to try to sell some toys as well, one of my subwoofers is starting to get scratchy so i think i'm going to have to replace it soon and i don't have the $250 to replace it. so i'd like some help if you guys don't mind to lend …

  3. The mold looks pretty dead on to me. They remolded Blurr and a few other Armada releases to either change or remove the gimmick. To me, an Armada Wheeljack without the chest scar/decal, with an internalized gimmick and with the right paintjob/rubsign would flat out BE Red alert for the Classics line. I know people would prefer new molds but this wouldn't just be a straight repaint. The mold has never been repainted to begin with. And a remold would be worth it to get two more waves out of Classics. I wouldn't even object to Classics being a repaint line if they stuck to repainting fairly clear homages and avoided the weird colors of Universe. Ie. Seas…

  4. Hey everyone, now, I'm not one to excessively Transform/throw around my Transformers like, perhaps, a five-year-old might, but I suppose I do like to Transform them every now and then, so I was sort of surprising to me that after not having played with Cybertron Optimus Prime all that much, he suddenly broke at the leg rotation joint. I guess a lot of it has to do with his enormous backpack and the weight that puts on his legs, but some how that joint that lets his legs move forward and back is I guess completely shot, because now his legs just flop about freely and he can't even stand up. I guess I'm really just out of luck, but I was wondering if anyone else has sort …

  5. What colors scheme should he be--cartoon colors (light blue/red) or toy colors (dark blue/red)? Dammit, still can't figure out how to make a friggin' poll... :grrr

  6. Started by ROSEDOGGYDOG,

Is he or has been released yet? The only ones I've seen on ebay are in China and remember something about people having their orders cancelled. I was told by a dealer (toy) yesterday that Soundwave has come and gone in the stores (I have a very hard time believing that) and the employees snagged them up. So in short, what is the deal with Soundwave?

  8. Started by Terrorcon Blot,

So I bought Classics Mirage about a week ago, and was staring at him constantly (as he sits on my desk). I noticed his eye had a funny look to it, but chalked it up to lighting...until I really stared. My mirage had a "ding" of some sort right near the corner of his left eye. Curious, it was small, and even then, faces aren't the spot mold flaws tend to show up... So looking online I compared various photos (Remy's, Seibertron's), and realized...every Mirage has this "ding". I'm thinking it's less an accident, and more intentional... In other words, someone decided to give Classics Mirage a BADASS SCAR!! I like him more than ever now that I discovered this…
