I decided for once in my life to be a completist, since Classics is such a small an manageable line, and as such I picked up the entirety of the first wave of Minicons, and for the most part was not disappointed with what I found. So, without further adue (adieu? adu? adeighueauh?) Classics Minicons Wave 1. I gotta admit I was pretty skeptical of this crowd when pictures first surfaced on the web, especially since Minicons are such a recent addition to the Transformers mythos and seem out of place in a line titled "Classics." I was swayed their side, however, when I took a closer look and noticed just how bizarre they were. These guys are really, really weird…

I have these figures and it wasn't until last night that I figured I'd give it a go and see how they looked along with some other potential "Classics" next to the actual figs from the line. I used GF Soundwave (I prefered the gold chrome and stuff that's on the GF version that wasn't even painted gold and left blank on the Cyb version), E. Shockblast and E. Downshift. They go with the line pretty well. Not sure if I want to use E. Scorpy with the line, probably not. Now I need Skyfire, Cliffjumper, Ramjet, Skywarp and Ultra Magnus. What other ones could be used. Wait a minute, just thought of one. Cyb Runabout. and Cyb Blurr.

Hey guys, It's been a while since I put together anything this big or long, but I think it's been worth the wait. This article deals with the earliest versions of the G1 jets: Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Ramjet, Thrust and Dirge. It focuses on the evolutionary process of these toys from original concepts and prototypes through samples to production pieces. There are still many gaps, but I feel that this article sheds some light on a few of those gaps that may previously have been unknown to most. I've split the article into three parts. Part 1: THE EARLY PRE-RUBSIGN SERIES 1 RELEASES This section shows one of the first Transformers, a Thundercrack…

The Top Ten Transformers of 2006!!! It's that time again! Another year has come and gone and so has many new Transformers products. 2006 saw new additions to the Cybertron series including: the much anticipated Primus! There were few Alternators released this year but the ones that were, were top notch! One of the most exciting new product lines was the introduction of the Transformers Classics! This gave every Generation One fanboy a chance to relive their youth with new sculpts of established characters. To increase the Transformers palette, Hasbro also released the Titanium collectors lines. Both in 3" collectibles and 6" heavy metal robots! Overall, besides the l…
