E. Shockblast and GF Soundwave

Recommended Posts

I have these figures and it wasn't until last night that I figured I'd give it a go and see how they looked along with some other potential "Classics" next to the actual figs from the line.

I used GF Soundwave (I prefered the gold chrome and stuff that's on the GF version that wasn't even painted gold and left blank on the Cyb version), E. Shockblast and E. Downshift.

They go with the line pretty well. Not sure if I want to use E. Scorpy with the line, probably not. Now I need Skyfire, Cliffjumper, Ramjet, Skywarp and Ultra Magnus.

What other ones could be used.

Wait a minute, just thought of one. Cyb Runabout. and Cyb Blurr.

i thought cyb blurr would go too, but he really looks like a squatty midget next to Hot Rod

Hmm...really.

What about Cyb Runabout? Considering a lot of the Armada dlx molds were squatty midgets, I may just have to pass on it.

C. smokescreen fits in with the classsics.

Haven't seen him around my area at all.

Would have liked to have gotten him though.

*loves my E.Shockwave fan alt. mode*

If you mean the fan gun mode, yeah, figured it out myself.

I think Hasbro made it so that it was a possible hidden alt mode that the fan had to figure out and wasn't in the official instructions and stuff.

Galaxy Force Soundwave? If Hasbro didn't make their's like that for Cybertron, why would they do it for a Classics version of the toy?

As it is, Cybertron Soundwave could be a straight rerelease, since he's in G1 colors anyway.

I would buy a Cybertron Dark Scorponok repainted in G1 colors.

i dont think he wants them repainted - i think hes just putting figures that he already has up on his shelf.

You know - I passed on all the shockblast molds - and now his constant comparisons to classics is making me regret that.

Ah. Still, it's not like Cybertron Soundwave is a piece of crap or anything. Although, I think his design is way too busy to properly fit into the Classics line. Energon Shockblast doesn't seem very appropriate either.
