Is he or has been released yet? The only ones I've seen on ebay are in China and remember something about people having their orders cancelled.

 

I was told by a dealer (toy) yesterday that Soundwave has come and gone in the stores (I have a very hard time believing that) and the employees snagged them up.

 

So in short, what is the deal with Soundwave?

my order from TRU wasn't canceled, just put on back order... that's all I know

Ah good backorder is a lot better than cancelled. I got scared I missed out.

nobody knows honestly, but the canceling of pre-orders does not bode well for an in-store release state side. china on the other hand.... :tfmad

Toys R Us stores are still "ghost town hit by a hurricane mode", so I guess we'll know for sure once they are straightened out.

Its technically not "classics" Soundwave, its "Commemorative Series" Soundwave. And hopefully he will actually get released. When I heard they'd started canceling some pre-orders figured the guy was on the way to being canceled.

I'm still glad that I got Cybertron Soundwave before Christmas. I thought that the size differential would be too great with G-1 and Titanium Soundwave.

I'm actually not a fan of Cybertron Soundwave, I have him, and I love Laserbeak, but the huge as wings in Bot mode, and the fact that you can see most of his robot bits in jet mode jsut don't do it for me.
