Hey all, I was just curious about something. I had the Micromaster Countdown set when I was a kid and I'm thinking about trying to buy it again. It was a sweet set. I looked on ebay and only found one complete...FOR $95!??!? Is this set rare or something?? I mean, it was cool and all for micromasters, but seriously, wtf??? :tfhuh

I think the higher pricepoint goes for the all the extra accessories that it came with, to get one complete pulls a premium. Plus it is a large set, larger than Metroplex.

Yeah, I've seen incomplete ones for decent prices, but a complete one is rare enough to pull the higher price. Its a big set. Personally I'd like to find it and a Galaxy Shuttle to go with it. Seen pics and he looks cool mounted on it.

For a while, I was looking for a Japanese countdown MIB cause I wanted the rescue patrol team in with the foam after I got my galaxy shuttle. But then I ended up getting the american MIB countdown complete for $30. I got lucky cause a board member needed cash fast and knew I was interested at his. Wanted $60 for it but dropped it. Ended up getting both a MIB countdown and MIB Skystalker for $60 shipped. :tfevil

 

So they are selling at crazy prices, but if you search enough, I"m sure you can find him for around $50.

He has a lot of parts, but they are all fairly common. Get one on the cheap that is about 75% and then part it together easily.
