Well while Beast Wars was on the tele back in the 90's, I was too busy being a grown up and working my ass off. Anyhow I have now found the whole beast wars collection on net flix and have been watching them all back to back. So far I like what I'm watching (waaaaaaaay better then the G1 cartoon) but I'm hoping that season three is a little more serial/soap like in terms of every episode relys on the next. Doe anyone else like to see a new City Transformer released? Megalo Convoy/Metrplex turned out to be a giant piece of machinery, and I know we've got Primus, but he's a planet - not quite the same. It would be nice to have a Transformer that turned into some kind of fortress or base. What I really hope is that one day we're going to get a Supreme-sized homage to Fortress Maximus. The original version is impressive, but way too big, and not articulated enough for my taste. It would be interesting to see what Hasbto/Takara's toy designers can come up with these days. now i have some freinds who werent to happy with the tf movie because pretty much all the g1 tfs die, including optimus even though he comes back. i kind of felt the same way but it wasnt so bad b/c i really like hotrod and he remains one of my favorites. i recently received the headmasters, masterforce and victory dvd sets. im sure youve all seen them on ebay at least once. im not even halfway through headmasters and im mortified! optimus dies again. cybertron gets blown up. galvatron dies. rodimus, kup and blur reliquish power to cerebros(fort max) and like run away! wtf?! and if youve all seen rebirth (pretty much the end of the american g1 series) they introduced…

Ok this deserves its own thread. This guy not only recuts and re-edits the original G1 cartoon vids with adult scripting, but his voices are amazing! I just watched Prime's Rude Awakening and Shockwave's Burden and was both pissing my pants laughing and also blown away by the voice acting! His Shockwave and Starscream are spot-on! As stated by the man himself, Optimus Prime, on the new DVD included in the Classics Optimus Prime vs. Megatron "The Ultimate Battle". Seriously, he makes a reference to how his troops reformat so much that it's difficult to recognize them. He was specifically referring to Hot Shot in one scene, and showed his respective A/E/C images all at the same time. It's true, I swear! *hears crickets* :redface
