OK, figures are awesome, I think it's something we can all agree on. Sometimes though Has/Tak just drops the ball on the names and bios, or just makes to many variants of the same figure. Some renames are a given like TF1 Fracture into Crasher from GoBots Energon Shockblast into Shockwave I'm sure you get the point. Then you have some other figures that just strike you as someone else. Sometimes it's a group collective realization, sometimes it's just something you do. Examples on my shelves Movie Ironhide. I love the figure but he just doesn't strike me as a Ironhide. Beyond the fact that he looks nothing like him, one thing that always stood out ab…

Cartoon Network.com has all of them up to 35 on line and in Media player here

Not all, but some of the auctions mentions that the collection comes from her husband (e.g. ratbat one). I assume the whole thing belongs to him though. http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZphenyxxfireQQhtZ-1

Well everyone, As promised, Car Robots DVD Vol 1 with English subs is finally released. Head over to http://karyuudofansubs.blogspot.com/ for release info. I hope everyone enjoys all the hard work that was put into subbing this. It ain't easy i'll tell ya ;-) Especially when it's got some crazy Japanese references that we Western folks wouldn't be able to catch unless there was a bit of explaining given! Please post comments on what you think of this release. For those who want a DIVX release of it, please send an email over to me.

So we've now had G1 redux from AEC and Classics, plus RID and the movie. Is it time for a new Beast Wars, a re-imaging of the idea of robots transforming (almost) exclusively into animals of various kinds, or was the original Beast Wars something genuinely so unique and special it needs to stay that way? If there was a new BW, what would you want it to be? A sequel, a continuation, a re-imagining, an original concept, or the G1 Beast Wars ;-)? I personally would like to see Beasts make a comeback, but I'm not sure how to make it as cool as the first Beast Wars was.

Hi I am new. I was wondering if any of you wonderful people out their knew of any sites where they have sort of history of the generation one transformers. thands kindly cyclonus :wave

I think Overseer with their Supermoves is one I'd like to see in there. The Transformers remix. ;)

Over the years, TFs have seen a lot of things reworked, rewritten, or just filled in in their history (such as thier origin or why they're fighting), but every continuity has had the war between bots and cons going for 1,000,000+ years, except for maybe RiD. The new IDWverse tries to take that into account by having cybertron be so war-ravaged that it's uninhabitable, but come on. How could it go on so long without either side winning, or at least gaining some ground? Or both sides being so devastated they quit. Is this such a staple of the mythos that they can't change it and have the war be, like, 10 years old when they get to earth? Or have it start after the…
