Soundtrack to the TF live action movie

Recommended Posts

Vince DiCola and Stan Bush need to do a few songs in the soundtrack. I would love to hear updated versions of 'The Touch' and 'Dare' as well as tossing in 'Unicron's Theme' at the end of the credits as a teaser.

maybe some korn or alittle bit of some chemical bro.

Industrial metal like Fear Factory might work for battle scenes, but I would rather see an actual score.

It's obvious you guys have no idea what a good metal band is. Try slayer, nile, dying fetus, death, cephalic carnage, Kreator and :rofl WASP :rofl. But ya, it's best that there's no modern music in the transformers sountrack. And the music in the first transformers movie sucked , so no vince dicola either. The score idea i whole heartedly agree with.

Giant robots=heavy metal.

Some instrumental stuff could be cool as well. I always liked that dramatic music from the G1 cartoon. Like when Optimus is on the oil rig telling Spike that they are Autobots from Cybertron. That little piece of music rocks!

:pfx I'd like to hear metal versions of the original cartoon music in seasons 1and 2.

Oh yeah. "Obvious". I bet you just been waiting to say this. :P

I think no matter how selfish TF fans want to be with this that we'd want music that's a little more accessable to the general public than (other than Slayer) screaming/growling death metal. Yeah, nobody will like the movie if it has a slapdash death metal fan's wet dream of a soundtrack.

It has to be metal, even a new versionof "instruments of destruction". And please NO AND I AM SERIOUS HERE NO RAP, HIP HOP CRAPPY SOUNDTRACKS PLEASE, it doesnt match at all with transformers.

Yes, because we all know that Transformers are for mullet-sporting, black concert T-shirt-wearing white trash. Maybe they could even get Axl Rose to do the soundtrack.

I'd like to see an orchestral score that also uses hard rock elements, such as distorted guitars and drum kits. It's been done before, but I can't think of the example... I can hear it though. Like that helps.

I think you're right. That would be when the TFs begin their adventure on Earth. But remember, the TFs are aliens. So a straight orchestral score that benefits an outerspace epic would do well too.

I just hope it doesn't turn out like the Spiderman 2 sdtrk. That just plain sucked. When Parker was walking around with "Raindrops keep Falling on My Head", I about shat myself in disbelief and shock.

Metal... Matrix-esque music... and no pop.
