I live in Japan and recently the movie has helped me get dates with some very fine ladies. 1/ Im in a bar and a half Japanese/Canadian girl comes up to me and, upon seeing my Autobot symbol on my mobile phone says "hey Transformers..COOL!" and Ive got a date with her in a few weeks. 2/ Same bar, different night (tonight to be exact) and some smoking fit Japanese gym fitness girl tells me her fave movie of all time is TRANSFORMERS! She nearly bores me with her love for "Convoy", "Bumblebee" and all the transforming action. She assured me her apartment was a mere 2 mins walk from the bar. She loves steak so Im taking her to Outback steak house and then a second vi…

Many years ago the Saturday before easter my father gave me my second Optimus Prime. Like so many of us the movie left me with a spiritual void that Rodimus Prime simply could not fill. My new Power Master Optimus Prime confirmed for me that the leader of the Autobots had Risen again! Every year tonight my family and I watch the G1 movie . Tomorrow we will watch the Return of Optimus Prime. Holidays are great! Have an extra one! Happy Prime Day!!! :tflaugh

Seems like they're making updated versions of the various combiners... but they don't have their alt-bod part modes. Why don't they make these updates have it so that eventually, when all of the individual bots are availabel you can combine them. Since they all seem to be full-sized figures if they made them "combine-able" they'd make a HUGE bot when they are put together. Imagine a full size Bruticus? It'd be wicked!!

If there was mass shifting in G1 as we know it, how come a said TF couldn't grow to the size of, say, a gestalt.. I mean, if they shrink, then they must be able to grow to huge sizes too, right? :tfevil

I recently sold a rare item to someone for ~$600. I was honest with my description and had a accurate photo in the listing. After about a month week after the buyer received the package they have started complaining of a smoke oder, saying the guidebook is "stained", and that the game cartridge has been dropped and now rattles. This person also drops in the info that they have gotten several copys of said game from creigslist. Now I don't smoke and even had this item sealed in a airtight container untill the point I preped it for shipping. The rest of the game was in really good condition and had none of the issues he is stating. I have many many pictures to back …

Why do hasbro persist in hiring voicebox to to the voice acting for the transformers cartoon, hasbro themselves admit they are not happy with them and yet here they get yet another transformer series to screw up. I have literally just seen the intro and its already driving me nuts. I pray that they will not do the next series :( *edit* 5 minutes in and the hate is building :( *edit* 10 mins in and the combination of cgi and piss poor voice acting is relegating this to energon staus :( *edit* yep its so bad I cant watch it anymore, super wooden voice acting and cyber keys that just appear at random and latch onto them??? The Japanese should stick to designing…

Ok so I am a member of a tfgroup on facebook. The owner on there always likes to point out that he has 10,000 transformers loose and boxed. That he has 1 figure loose and 1 figure boxed. Well he let on that he has Grand Max Loose and Boxed. And that he bought the boxed one in a Garage sale in California. Yet when I asked for pics he says they are in his garage. He did try to post up a pic of a grand max still in the box off the internet but quickly took it off. It was a pic from one of the popular forums. When someone asked why he did this he said oops It must have been erased and that he was just showing a sample. When asked for pics of the garage he always makes an excu…

People hated Bob Skir, but I must confess, I know almost nothing about the situation. I have yet to see Beast Machines, but I hear the ending is something debated a lot. Why do people have a strong distaste for this time in the series? Is it a good show? Was he a good writer? Im also looking to possibly collect the Beast Machines toys after I get into Beast Wars, if the show is good. Are they any good? I hear some fans ragging on them on some sites. Anybody care to explain? I mainly collect Alts, but im looking to see what else is good out there.

So what're your secret shames? Something you like that's a TF taboo... Are you a fan of Wheelie? (which is actually becoming increasingly acceptable) Do you think Unicron should be in the movie? Do you like Magnus as a Prime repaint? I'll get it started. I have absolutely NO problem with the drone molds from the movie. Yup. I LIKE Dreadwing and Payload. Even worse- I have TWO Payloads. I had intended to repaint one as a school bus, but it never got past prototype stage. AND I bought the Dreadwing repaint. (Overcast, I think?) Bare your souls, people!

Okay. I'm trying to understand, aside from the fact that some people just hate the idea considering they're robots, why some people really dislike the concept of mass shifting. The TFs are not the only ones who have done so. There are other fictional characters that have done the same. There's Dr. Pym/Ant Man, for those of us that watched Power Rangers when we were younger, there were two characters that could grow to the size of Megazords, Ninjor and Auiric the Conqueror, and currently since my little sister watches it, there's a new character to follow them called the Sentinal Knight who can grow from Ranger size to Megazord size. Then in the Animorphs series…
