Inspired by the recent Daniel Witwicky kitbash, I decided to attempt another favorite human charachter from the G1 show, Chip Chase!!! :clap Here's the base figure I started with, before I opened it in case any of you wants to suplicate my project, you know exactly what I was starting with. :thumb I chose Professor X as a base for this bash because he is similar to Chip in a number of ways... not only are both of them crippled, but they also both have a wheelchair of sorts, so it was perfect. They are both smart too, so that made it even better. Here is a nice detail photo of the back of Chip's hover chair. I know that G1 Chip didn't have a hover ch…

EDIT: (Gallery http://www.tfmaster.com/gallery_kb0184.php ) -------------------- Well, the Mustang Prowl project left me with an extra body. I had been planning to make it into Red alert since before I had even decided that Prowl would be a Mustang. In fact, originally I was going to use the RX-8 for Prowl, and sculpt the Meister head into Red alert's. That's still the plan, in fact. You can see the car mode fits the character quite nicely. Just need some decals to make it work completely. Paint job's been done for quite some time now. I plan to modify the doors using a technique another fellow kitbasher has used, ha…

I'm still without a working camera, but I was able to use a friend's to take a few WIP pics of this bad boy. He's made from mostly styrene and epoxy putty with metal pins. His wires are something called "jelly cord" for bracelet making, and his straps are "craft lacing" for macramé. I haven't worked out the hands and feet yet, but the broad strokes are all there. He's scaled to fit MicroMan, but also fits those little small-sized Marvel Legends figures. I forgot to bring my own victim along to my friend's house, but luckily he had one of his own. My first thought for a name was SPARKY, but now that I see him, he might need something more evil-sounding. All commen…

Hi everyone... :wave Some time ago, I asked fellow member Jaf to create a Masterpiece Megatron for me based on the Palisades Megatron Statue. It is still a work in progress... more details are needed like painting, etc. but you get the general idea. When I asked him to do this for me, I didn't realize how creative he truly is! (And we will try keep the topic of the 'price to build' to just Jaf and myself for now...) :tftongue Take a look: What do you all think so far? -Joe

Yeah, yeah. I know we're rumored to be getting a 'real' one, but this has been in my head since I first brought Jazz home, so the project continues apace. :D First, teh teaser: And teh full shot: I'll be adding black police deco in short order, with the same self-adhesive vinyl stuff I used for Jazz's stripes. After that, I'll make up some custom PD logos for the doors, and then all that'll be left is repainting the head of one of my extra Smokescreens. :thumb

I have another side project I'm starting on what number is this one? Um like 5 or 6 at least. Any way I have drilled a hole where the Dcon emblem was on Scavenger's stomach for the Energon star port on E Demolishor/Longhaul to plug into. This is just step one. Next will be to give treads to the one loader turning it into a bulldozer, and adding a cement barrel to the crane arm of one of the cranes. Should have worn my Kevlar glove though cause the drill bit nicked the back of my left middle finger. Oh well it could have been much worse. I'll get back to work on my Predaking Monday, and Tuesday.

hi i'm new to this board. i've been checking out all the custom kitbashes and felt inspired to start my own. It's a BumbleBee alternator using a 1:24 scale kit with parts from smokesscreen. I want some feedback on how it looks and any comments about it.

This is my most recent project. I am excited how it is turning out after having another disastrous problem with acrylics once again. (anyone who remembers my red movie Ironhide project will know what i am talking about) So i had to strip all of the awful acrylic off again and start from scratch and this time im doing things my way. You might be wondering "why didn't you just do it "your way" from the start?" well i was trying to give acrylics a second chance, and i figured lightening couldn't strike twice....oh how wrong was i... Anyway, enough of dwelling on the past, here is what i have so far: I have primed Prime (haha) in automotive primer…
