Well... he came in the mail today at work.  :clap

 

I must say that Jaf did a great job. For some reason, the pics don't do it justice, especially in the face. It came out beautifully.  :thumb It is super poseable, and has a nice balanced feel to it.

 

I will post some pics tonight of him leading his troops. :)

EDIT:  ok, i wrote that post when i saw the FIRST pics.  seeing the end result, I ruined my pants.  That is AMAZING!! 

Megatron is my all time favourite character, and i still havent complimented this work! Awsome job Jaf!!!! I think the entire thing is spectacular, especially the pics showing megatron from below as well as the one fighting prime!!

 

The only thing really bugging me is the lack of his "full" cod piece...it just looks a bit awkward without them, although i'm sure they wouldnt be too hard to create, they may take away from the posability of the figure...

 

None the less...good stuff

Hey gang. Thanks very much for all of the great comments and support.  Mazinkaiser has been very patient, cool, and supportive through the process and I hope it has been worth it. Enjoy, my man!

 

Also, I totally agree about the "cod" piecs comments by TFM and decepti-jet. The reason they are so small is (as  decepti-jet surmised) because of poseability. With the full pieces on the hips, the legs wouldn't have been able to move fully. So I opted to shrink them and fasten directly to the thigh.

I think MP-Prime, C-Red alert and C-Prime all have Hinged Cod pieces so that the "effect" is there but does not hinder posability...

But i do agree that a Masterpiece should TF.  Why hasnt someone done a MP-Transformable TANK??
