here we go again folks. Ramjet is underway. all parts and pieces are accounted for. This should move pretty quick. Should! here are the first shots of his wings. thanks for looking. W_J

  2. Started by squall42080,

Alright...so I have two Alternator Prowls here. One to keep, one to kitbash. (The next one I find goes to plowking...still lookin' man!) My idea basically is to turn Alternator Prowl into a stock milano red Acura RSX Type-S...which is the car that I own. I already know that he is going to look very similar to G1 Sideswipe...in the way he transforms, the color, and the head I have chosen (Alt Sideswipe) Here's a pic of my car right now...

  3. ***So as not to throw off the lengthy discussion that served as research (and thanks guys for the help), I added pics on page 6*** My problem is I can make damn near anything so long as I learn the tools used to make it... It's just learning how to do things that's the toughest part. I really want to learn how to custom sculpt heads and parts, but do it right, like Valkfan or a few others who actually manage quality castings. I know a company made a set of Diaclone-scale Spike and Sparkplug a year or so back (sorry, can't find the link, but…

Basing them on the Gen-1 color scheme, these are 2 guys that I'm guessing have been done previously, and now I'm attempting them. I got them underway pretty quickly, paint took to them perfectly, all even and smooth..Now just letting them cure, then move on to detailing and more drying, then finish etc. Pics of the heads and Sunstorm a bit later.

  7. Started by JAF,

This guy is on ebay right now as well. Mirage Auction I'm almost done with the final version. Mostly, just tweaks and small enhancements have been achieved like the wheels being more accurate and the fit being tighter. But it's coming along.

  8. just a wip of one of my spare hot rods
