  1. a little something I whipped up last night while waiting for some decals to dry. Do you have any flying decepticon cassette tapes? Do you love them but just don't know what to do with em? Are people always making fun of how you display em? Have you informed your local authorities and received blank stares? Have your parent's told you to get a girlfriend, boyfriend or (hermaphrofriend)? Well, if you want to and if no one else can help, maybe, just maybe .... I... can help....you...help yourself. You can call on this tutorial. ***cue machine gun firing*** brakkabrakkabrakkabrakkabrakka WHEEL_JACK HOW TO MAKE A FREAKIN STAND FOR YOUR FLYIN…

  2. Started by Hunter Rose,

I keep thinking that the 74-MBB mold would look great in Black. And the first thing that occured to me is that if he was black - then he would look like Tarantino's DeathProof Car. I might actually do this - so i started playing around in photoshop to practice. The graphic of the skull and cross bones is just one i Googled - but the skull part would be on the hood flap (that reveals, dun-dun-Dun! the skull head), but that would leave the cross bones in bot mode. One of the things that would have to happen of course is - if you paint all the car parts black -then the Robot parts would have to be something contrasty - I figured a brushed steel/Silver would w…

  4. Started by convoymagnus,

Hi: I was playing around with styrene yesterday and, wondering how would the toy look with more than just the heads i created to be more toon accurate, i came up creating a "boot" for ratchet, then I created the other one and could not stop there so i created two shoulder mounts to give an overall better appereance and the results are these: I think it comes even closer to what the toy should have been without altering the structure of the original toy, the kit is kind of an armor that attaches to the toy, something like ultramagnus armor. Please tell me what you think, the kit still needs refinement , please give me your feedback. Thanks!

  5. Started by Pascal,

I borrowed the light system from RID Sideways and implemented it on BB's gun by removing the blade, carving, cutting and glueing all the parts together. Here's a vid to show how it looks like and how it works... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06r93R5i8eg

I just figured this out, so I hope this is helpful for everybody. Remember, hot glue is dangerous, so play safe!

  7. Started by ALPHAMAGNUS,

I thought of this over the weekend, and with a lil styrene and superglue. here ya go kind of a homage to Energon megatron just a simple plastic mount for holding the 2-pack megs on voyager megs arm as a cannon it attaches to 2-pack megs leg holes, which holds him together in tank mode. hope you likey!

  8. Started by Chris Morada,

It's been weeks since I posted my last custom Warpath here. Anyhow, I had a deluxe Bumble Bee laying around, so I picked it up and decided that I should custom this dude. Nothing too hardcore with this custom toy, just threw in a sculptured Cliff Jumper head and layed several coats of Testors Acryl on this baby, and whalahh! I would say this is my version of the Allspark Cliff Jumper. Enjoy! TRANSFORM & ROLL OUT!

  9. Started by Valkfan,

Hello all. As many of you know, I really don't like repainting my Alternators. But in order to do this character justice, I just had to repaint an extra Alt. Ricochet I had sitting around. I used Krylon Fusion for the yellow which worked great and I used clothing dye(RIT) to color the legs black. The custom Bumblebee head is completely scratch-built by myself and will remain a one-of-a-kind sculpt. However, I WILL be making a Cliffjumper version for those interested. I will be posting some pictures in Alt. mode but I need to repaint the rims silver before I do so.

  10. Started by tom servo,

This might be a stretch for this forum, but I wanted to share it here. I recently landed a job at a place here in Philly that builds large-scale props and scenery. They mostly build and rent things for events, but they also make custom statuary- mostly from fiberglass (itchy!). My job is making things and making molds for things in fiberglass and resin. I actually got the job with a portfolio of small resin castings and Transformer and action figure customs! The lesson is that this stuff CAN get you a job! While painting a giant Lio-Convoy head for the side of a building, I realized that all of the painting skills that I was using were honed on my custom projects: w…
