I want to build a perfect edition of Defensor. I saw a KO at a $store near me and, i rememebr that i once owned Defensor. and in trying to rebuild my youth through kitbashing, I have decided to make a larger more articulated version, much like Ptitvite's DEVASTATOR here's my plan thus far Hotspot = cybertron Mudflap Groove = armada Sideways( i know it's out of scale) blades= energon bulkhead or cybertron evac no ideas for streetwise or first aid, any suggestions check here if you want a DEFENSOR refresher

  3. Started by Sami,

Basing them on the Gen-1 color scheme, these are 2 guys that I'm guessing have been done previously, and now I'm attempting them. I got them underway pretty quickly, paint took to them perfectly, all even and smooth..Now just letting them cure, then move on to detailing and more drying, then finish etc. Pics of the heads and Sunstorm a bit later.

  5. So since we are a few months away from new Classics, I am already making plans. Prowl and Sunstreaker are excellent molds which I think provide a great base for many characters beyond the obvious repaints. Sunstreaker: He has a roof-chest, which to my knowledge hasn't been done in deluxe scale before. When I look at this mold, I obviously see Sideswipe and Red Alert, but I also see a potential Wheeljack, Runabout and Runamuck. With the Sideswipe alternate transform, I see G2 Sideswipe, the e-hobby guys like Clamp Down and Deep Cover, RID Sideswipe, and Micromaster Swindler. I definately want to attempt the Battlechargers from this mold at least. Prowl: Obviously w…

i was going to surprise everyone, but i couldnt wait to show it!! my plan is to do a complete RID Scourge deco 2tone panels and all. but as i started looking at it, i said why not just post some pics of MP G2 Laser Prime. i used parts of armada overload, armada unicron, KO RID prime, universe Blastcharge, energon snowcat. and armada deluxe prime. and a good ole dremel and glue. i only glued it slightly as i plan to take it apart, sand, and paint. it will look so good i think. anyway, hope everyone ejoys. zedz G2 LASER PRIME RID SCOURGE

I'm quite excited. My (Ptitvate inspired) Devastator after many trial and errors finally stands firmly on his own! Next up, I need to fix cosmetics (ie make joints hidden, add a head, chest plate, etc) and force a few joints to be more perfectly tightened... then comes my favorite part...the paint job. I'm too excited not to have posted this, but being my first real semi-kitbash, and a large one at that, and that all that weight doesn't topple over...I'm just too excited not too. even on 1 leg!

  8. Started by ServO,

Hello...this is a WIP that I've been messing around with. I saw a wicked cool pic of this guy that someone had drawn, and thought it would be cool to have a Topspin that could pose and whatnot. He doesn't transform anymore really, but I have to say that I really don't care...If I need one to fold up again, I'll go on Ebay and buy one for a dollar. Legs and arms came from Classics Ramjet. Wings come from a horribly abused G1 Overdrive, and the guns came from a model of a Star Wars Lambda class shuttle. The shiny blue stuff came off the wrapper from a Rice Krispy Treat...it HAD to be that color blue too. He's kind of rough...there's still some paint…

Good morning TFans. Behold BumbleStreaker! Using a modified Inferno reissue head and a 78' Camaro BB I found that a pretty cool Sunstreaker "movie style" can be made. Since the only thing in stores these days are the movie figs, I am brushing up on my painting skillz Thanks for raising the bar Jin! ;) Anyhow, I'd love to know your thoughts. The car shell hasnt been done yet, but the bot parts are pretty much painted. I plan on crafting a couple of those rectangular shoulder rockets for him too. Cheers!

  10. Nothing fancy, I just painted the tank tracks on the rear (and in the inside) to make them look more realistic than the current molded all-green version and I also added stickers on the windows. I think it turned out pretty well.
