Needs a supercharger.

The details look great and the head mod is perfect.

Oh, i stand corrected he looks great. How did you dirty up the paintwork?

Wow, the shoulder and arm weapons and the dirtier paintjob make a world of difference.

dude the custom rox but i would have chosen another mold for Sunstreaker though

Anyway, this looks kinda cool. But it doesn't really work. Not your fault its the mold. I havnt seen a custom using this mold which has succeeded in looking like a different character and not just like a repainted bumblebee.

Dude...you got me thinking a little and I did this real quick...

No problem man, I understand completely (nice digibash too). I'm having trouble figuring out who's head that is though.

Thanks Sonray. The dirty effect was as simple as brushing a wash of black acrylic paint into the details, panel lines, and such. After about 45 seconds, as the paint was drying, I took a cotton swab and wiped away the excess. If you then use the damp (with paint-wash) swab to blot dirt onto areas that need some attention, you can achieve a bunch of different looks. Then after the app is completely dry anything undesireable can be just wiped off with friction. This leaves nice details darkened but allows one to get back tot he base color where desired. Obviously, the acrylic finish needs to be sealed or it will all wipe off.

I actually have done that. Since I have many movie figs that I plan on customizing, and plenty of G1 reissue parts to use up...stay tuned.

Thanks for all the feedback gang! I'm glad you liked the finishing touches.

That sir is a Transmetal Cheetor!

Looks great, just don't let Sunstreaker know that his alt mode is a beat up 1970s Camaro! LOL!!!
