DEFENSOR???

Recommended Posts

I want to build a perfect edition of Defensor. I saw a KO at a $store near me and, i rememebr that i once owned Defensor. and in trying to rebuild my youth through kitbashing, I have decided to make a larger more articulated version, much like Ptitvite's DEVASTATOR

here's my plan thus far

Hotspot = cybertron Mudflap

Groove = armada Sideways( i know it's out of scale)

blades= energon bulkhead or cybertron evac

no ideas for streetwise or first aid, any suggestions

check here if you want a DEFENSOR refresher

Well, you could use just about any car for Streetwise and slap a lightbar on him. Perhaps Cybertron Hotshot, which would make him the same size as your Groove. I think a van-shaped Transformer would work best for First Aid, such as Towline (but he is like 1/3 robot, 2/3 excess crap).

What I want to know is how in God's name you are going to get a ultra sized character to make an arm on a voyager sized body?

Nobody here mentioned an ultra sized character.

Energon Bulkhead was an ultra-sized character.

E-Bulkhead was ultra-class.

Evac would likely work better for Blades, he doesn't stand much taller than some Deluxe figures.

As for Streetwise, I think your best bet would be something like Crosscheck suggested, slapping a lightbar on a character like Cybertron Hotshot. The only police vehicles released in the past few years (Energon Prowl and Movie Barricade) don't really fit the profile, plus E-Prowl sucks.

You could probably use Cybertron Red Alert (the deluxe one) for First Aid.

Oh,i thought bulkhead was only six inches tall in bot mode.

the only reason bulkhead is an ultra class, is because he has that exo armor , which i wouldnt use. I never liked the excess crap. at least it worked with energon landmine.

I don't always have to have it as it was in the toon, most combiner arms and legs were meant to be switched back and forth, if one is too big for the arm, it will be a leg.

Yeah, I never bothered with Bulkhead's armour/chicken walker backpack either, at least not combined with him as his robot mode was ace (on its own, it was kind of cool). I didn't realize he's only that much taller than Evac, haven't had either of them out in a while. I guess it depends on whether you wanna make Blades a leg or not, and whether you want it all to have a "rescue" vibe. I'd go for Bulkhead if you were sure you're making it a leg, because overall he's the cooler figure, but Evac is more of a rescue helicopter.

I always thought RiD Prime or Ultra Magnus would work for a Hotspot. With this size you are looking at he might work.

The only one in question is the Sideways, isn't he a Scout class, I could be wrong.

On a side note, I was kind of ticked about the Classics Onslaught coming out. He uses SWAT and Police scheme, but that was the Protectabots/Defensors gig. Plus weren't they mortal enemies (like Motormaster vs Superion, Computron vs Abonimus...)

Yeah, Protectobots/Combaticons were supposed to be arch-enemies, for lack of a better word. Armada Sideways was a deluxe though.
