Thanks to a pre-order on BBTS, my Animated Snarl arrived today, and I thought I'd give you a quick rundown of the figure. Now, as a G1 veteran, the first thing that bugs me is the name. This is a Triceratops dinobot, and the name should be Slag. It's probably some silly licencing thing, but hey, surely "Autobot Slag" could still have been used. Rant over, time to see what he's like! Packaging The standard deluxe packaging, with a quick bio, and the description of Autobot smasher. His co-sells are Jazz (which also arrived today - Will post a review in a day or 2!), Soundwave, and Oilslick. His motto is simply "Snarl smash!" Dinosaur Mode The fig…

I now have all 7 Alts, and I must say I love them all. However, I was a little disappointed in Meister. I think he looks cheaper than the others. It must be the white plastic. It makes him look unfinished. Plus, on mine at least, the doors don't shut tightly like they do on Streak or Smokescreen. Meister just looks too plain for me. I think he'd have looked better in red.

Since the line is coming to a close, I decided I might pick a few up. I am not overly interested in the Cybertron line (or Energon and Armada for that matter), but a couple of figures have caught my eye. I might as well start a small collection now. Great alt form, great pose ability? In your opinion, what are the "top-ten must have figures" in the Cybertron line? :clap Thanks for the help and I will keep up with the vote! <<< TOP-TEN >>> So far the consensus is... 1: Optimus Prime 2: CD Scattershot 3: Soundwave 4: Downshift 5: Sideways 6: CD Red alert & Galvatron 8: Evac 9: Armorhide 10: Starscream (Voyager…

I have to complain for a minute. I'm sick of all of the repaints of Prime to make him look like Ultra Magnus. If your going to repaint prime into Ultra Magnus, then at least give him some Armor to put on him and a helmet to make him look more like the Ultra Magnus I grew up and love. The only good Ultra Magnus, besides G1, that we have had over the years is the RID or Car Robots one. It was great but now since the classic line has come out they are making some great transformers. And now we are stuck once again with a normal prime repaint. I'm not saying some of the Ultra Magnus's in the past were not good toys, The Overload toy from Armada was a great toy, just not…

if they continue with classics i want galvatron cyclonus scourge if titanium scourge wouldn't look good with the above figures rodimus prime(titanium is to small compared to classics insecticons devastator (i knowwe have the walmart exclusive one but he doesn't cut it, i want a devastator that looks like he did in the cartoon) supirion defensor menasor bruticus predaking goldbug (repaint bumblebee and remold the head) scorponok (either a brand new figure or energon scorponok repainted in clasic colors with a headmater) fortress maximus (wishful thinking)

Is it just me, or does Optimus Prime's Alternator Robot mode resemble G1 Trailbreaker's Alternate mode from the G1 cartoon? I was looking at my DVDs (Plague of Insecticons), and I got a good look at Trailbreaker and noticed the similarities. Trailbreaker: http://www.toyarchive.com/Transformers/Toy...reakerMISB.html Op Prime: http://tfarchive.com/community/showthread....&threadid=33549

In other communities I have been a part of, the administrators of the forums got together with people from the website to make ultimate databases of said collectibles. Then each member could go through the database, and put checkboxes next to every figure they have in their collection and save it. This could display a "Collector" icon below the person's avatar that is a clickable button that would navigate to a viewable version of the person's collection. It's a way for the collectors to sort of show off their stuff to the others, and also minimizes time needed when people are posting trades and things like that. Has this been discussed in the past? Is it planned …

So I was thinking....Hasbro's keeping the Classics line as a subset of Universe. So basically any Universe toys that are meant as updates to G1 characters will in all likelihood be sold under the Classics subset of the Universe line. That also opens the Universe line up to a lot of other possibilities though, especially involving Beast Wars. I was thinking they could start a Beast Wars subset of the Universe line and give the classic Beast Wars characters the Classics treatment. Then I remembered they did this for Primal and Megs for the 10th Anniversary line.... http://www.seibertron.com/toys/gallery.php...e=0&start=0 http://www.seibertron.com/toys/gallery.p…
