When they are going to make a repaint/remold of this guy, they should make it into Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. It's so counterintuitive that it's logical for Hasbro/Takara to come up with these as repaints.

 

 

All seriousness, I don't mind the Dodge Ram being Optimus Prime, as long as Megatron's alt mode kicks more ass than Op, it's all good.

I believe he's implying that (like myself) a lot of people like to read well-formed paragraphs.  While I appreciate your input on the subject, it's just plain annoying to read a long run on sentence. 

 

Use a period every now and then - it makes your sentences much easier to read.  Type like you speak, in a sense.

 

I'm not being an ass or anything, btw.  Just letting you know.

My point originally was that even though the figures themselves suck,

they do have a redeeming quality as good figures with crappy paint schemes.

If trailbreaker WERE to be made off that ram mold, it would HAVE to be a 4x4. You cant name a 2wd street truck "trailbreaker", which implies he's some kind of rugged off roader. Which is why the Jeep mold is better anyway.

Yes, it would at least need to have some rugged tires, like the Swindle version of the Jeep.  I'd rather they jsut used a different pick-up truck though.  They could make Trailbreaker and Towline out of the same mold, with the addition of towing gear from the latter. 

Good idea.  Add on the covered truck-bed area, and you've got a winner.

I'm not going to think of this guy as Prime...he will be Ginrai and that way I won't fanboy out...though if they could have made a "god bomber" trailer hitch to him...that would soooo rock..

Renameing is always the way!  I think I'll call my Alt Opt, Convoy.  Then at least I'll have one I can honestly call Convoy in my collection without all the Pop Opt asthetics.
