Is it just me, or does Optimus Prime's Alternator Robot mode resemble G1 Trailbreaker's Alternate mode from the G1 cartoon?

 

I was looking at my DVDs (Plague of Insecticons), and I got a good look at Trailbreaker and noticed the similarities.

Yep, many people think OP should have been TB.

I think that perhaps we'll get an Asterik Release of Trailbreaker with the Swindle head and holographic projector, maybe.

Speaking of which... why are we getting Rollbar instead of Trailbreaker?

As much as I have tried, I just can't see this being the right mold for Trailbreaker.  I mean, I'm not saying that it's a better mold for Prime, but I would rather wait for a more accurate mold for TB. :)

and becuase a lot of kids don't even know G1 existed. ;)

 

I happen to like both the molds and color choices for the repaints, and any new mold is a good thing, IMO. 

I dont care what their names are. alternators rock!
