Wow....does any of this really matter? It's the name for a non-speaking supporting character's toy.

*Waits for the complaints from the next Dinobots name -Slut*

That's why some of us are complaining.

Not that I am particularly, I could never remember which Dinobot was which anyway.

That's kind of my point. What's the ratio of fans who can really correctly identify the Dinobots who aren't Grimlock or Swoop?

Slag was always, ALWAYS, my favorite.

Grimlock = T-rex

Slag = Triceratops

Sludge = Brontosaurus

Snarl = Stegosaurus

Swoop = Pteranodon

:tfdance :tfevil

But... But... Dinobot is teh raptor from Beast Wars!!

:lol :P

Well there's at least one.

Which is why I specified "ratio," of course.

Personally, I'm glad they changed the name. "Slag" is a curse-word in the TFAverse so it would be a bit weird to have a bot use it for his name. It always bugs me a bit watching old G1 episodes and hearing people refer to the triceratops dinobot as "Slag", knowing what the term referred to in Beast Wars and beyond.

Galvatron reffered to someone as a "Something Something Slag" In Return Of Optimus Prime, just before he gets overcome by the hate plague.

<.<

Just poniting out it was a curse then too.
