Discussion Thread for Ask Hasbro Your Burning Transformers Question - Part I

Recommended Posts

Man, I hope those get answered. I'm worried that I know the answers for 1 and 2:

1: Yes, steps are being taken.

2: No, we cannot.

The only question I genuinely dislike is 3. I just don't see the point in asking it.

But the other four I would love to hear answers for.

Plus, I could swear they answered this question at a BotCon sometime back.

However, it probably wouldn't hurt to hear the answer again to put an end to the endless "Why isn't Blackout/Lugnut/whomever a Leader-class figure?" questions.

damnit, ah well, ya snooze ya lose, i'd have liked to have known if there is any posibility of ML soundwave seeing a release here in the states in some form or another.

I think someone asked that.

So you can consider your question asked, and ignored. :P

Poopies, I thought my question was good: I asked about the possibilities for a game to come out w/bot-con customization like most PC MMO's. I mean, how cool would it be to design your own seeker, team up with others online to form a combiner set, or take your custom character through the ropes and earn the title of "Prime". And it would be an enormous breeding ground for developers to get ideas if for nothing else, great repaints. Maybe even contests where your designed bot gets to be part of the lineup. I know Hasbro wouldn't probably be the ones to actually make the game, but I'm sure they'd have a good hand in it. This would even solve the problem of buying the other TF games for nostalgic purposes considering none have a replay value.

Oh well, they didnt' answer me when I wrote them directly last year, so I don't reckon it would have been different here. Sigh...

tbh i got bored just reading that post so it's safe to say i personally wouldn't touch a game like that with a ten foot pole (no offence dude)

Wow, took ya 4 mins to bash someone else's idea?

Man, you'd think a forum w/everyone having a common interest would have more support for others ideas. I read all 10 pages and most were simply bashing other people's questions, as if to say that your own are better, I suppose.

And, of course you play MMO's, or have played any of the other Transformer games? If you answered yes, then you mean to say you just wanna be Prime or Soundwave or a (insert your fav here) right? You must not have much originality to design your own character, give a name and pick its specialty. It's ok if you don't, but then why thumb your nose at another person's idea?

it took about 10 seconds

i play pokemon and prefer to channel my energy into things other than mmo games

like having a life

(just saying)

and for the record your idea may appeal some people but i do think that was a bad question for hasbro - maybe you should pitch your idea to activision (or whoever has a deal for the TF games right now)

lastly - don't take things so personal - it's only the internet :)

LoL, PIKA!

I play all types of games, and I still make time for my fam. As most hobbies go, they tend to be a gateway to other hobbies: Video games, collecting vintage comics and attempting to collect TF's I've long lost are just a few. Only reason why I wanted to ask Hasbro was that that's not a type of game for Activision. At least, I've never seen them do a game like that, but I could be wrong, and I'm sure if I am, someone will let me know quick.

Oh, and there's nothing personal about the internet, but that's no reason to knock other people's ideas. And that's not just targetted at you, as I saw plenty of question bashing.
