  1. Sounds like the proprietor of that scalper store in Vallco Mall.
  2. Shoot, I wouldn't call that feeble, it looks really nice - I like how you did the SW Titaniums. I think what makes a lot of displays look crappy is simply having way too many figures - the clutter just becomes distracting and makes it look like a kid's room. One to go about it if you have a bunch of figures is to only display a few at a time (pick a theme for the week, etc.) - for instance, one week just have Classics, or Cybertron Decepticons, etc. That way your collection isn't overpowering to visitors (or yourself) and it stays fresh, instead of transform once and forget on a shelf - plus, if you find that there are certain 'bots you never end up displaying, maybe it's just time for them to go.
  3. Not for weeks, most of the Targets/TRUs last week, not since Fry's clearanced the last of theirs for $4 in June.
  4. Ironically, I saw Windcharger and Battle Ravage today at the WalMart on Story Road in San Jose (they must have found an old case in the back). I'm guessing you're looking for Leader Megatron since Leader Prime is everywhere - hit a Target, every one I've been too in the past week has had a couple of Leader Megs.
  5. Yesterday, on my way to Laguna Seca I found an Alt. Wheeljack in Salinas.
  6. I like this pose (sorry, pic removed)
  7. This would actually be my only complaint about most of the Energon Autobots. To facillitate the powerlinx modes, almost all of them are somewhat short chested and long legged. Great review. I was thinking of holding out on this mold until I see how the inevitable repaint is deco'd - but he sounds like fun and I'll probably end up getting the Towline version anyway.
  8. Yesterday (8/23) at the WalMart in Milipitas I saw two Hounds and two Silverstreaks. (No Dead End - curses...) EDIT: Found Dead End today (8/24) at the WalMart in Mountain View - only other thing of note was a Silverstreak. Both of these WalMarts were getting to be pretty bare-bones for Energon product with half-filled pegs (except Ironhide :roll ), hopefully there will be some new stuff soon (maybe once "Back to School" winds down).
  9. Saw reissue Skids today at a San Jose TRU (the one off of McKee Rd) - most likely the other local TRUs will have him shortly as well. He appears identical to the Japanese version including chrome gun and missiles. Not much else of interest at that TRU (surprised that Sideswipe didn't ship with him since they're both "Series VIII") or at the nearby Target (Target did have Omega Supreme and Demolisher).
  10. Stopped by a few WalMarts while driving over to the Easy Bay yesterday (Milpitas, Pleasanton and Livermore). All had Omega Supreme and the Energon role-play weapons; my guess is that all of the Bay Area Walmarts probably have them. Milpitas and Pleasanton had Alternator SilverStreak, as well. No Shockblast, though... (grumbled curses)
  11. Finally found Arcee in the San Jose area. The KB toys at the Great Mall in Milipitas has her. Unfortunately, she's $8.99, but I bought one anyway because I've probably spent $20 on gas driving around trying to find her. Still a couple there. They also have some Energon Demolishers.
  12. Hey Fortress_Maximus, Thanks for the info regarding Jeffrey's!
  13. Hey Fortress_Maximus, Where in the city is Jeffrey's Toys now? Last time I drove by the Third Street location it looked closed.
